Fitness Shoes

Has anybody seen or heard of the shoes that are designed to work out your legs while you walk? They're kind of elevated at the heels, or rock back and forth a little more than regular shoes. I think it seems like an interesting idea, but the shoes are pretty expensive. I saw a pair of sandals like that in a shoe store the other day and tried them on just to see what they were like, and I think they might work, but I dunno. Was just curious to see if anybody has had any experience with them.
