I'd like to make two suggestions.
The first one being the implementation of the plugin lockette (or 1.13 equivalent, such as:
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/blocklocker.3268/). This allows you to lock chests and doors with signs.
The second one being the ability to use /home and /sethome. When I tried typing those commands I received this message.
After all, there's nothing like going halfway across the map to find out that you left something at home.
These are merely suggestions, feel free to do whatever you want with them.
