[Blaiiine]

"Doesn't sound like a bad idea. It's more defensible, with the iron fencing and all." Tyler replied, leaning against her and resting his head against her shoulder.

She nodded, she really did want to have somewhere they could settle down and defend easier. She smiled slightly, contemplating the options.

[Blaiiine]

"And it's a neighborhood, lots of empty homes. Who's to say we all have to coop up in this place forever?" Tyler said, fumbling with the cigarette between his fingers before taking another drag.

"True." She said,  "We could always reinforce just a few houses. Make our own little four person community," She said laughing a little. Holly played with her knife, looking and listening out for anything coming.

[Blaiiine]

Tyler yawned slightly, stretching his arms with a loud groan. "Yeah, like one of those '50s sitcoms. Just don't call me Sheriff Andy." He said, laughing.

She laughed, now that was an old reference. But she got it, "Does that make me Helen?" She asked with a chuckle,

"Weeeeell," Tyler said, looking away with a chuckle. A few more moments of silence passed before he turned back to her.


"So let's talk, about everything since this all started." He said, putting his cigarette out.

She sighed once more, "Must we?" She asked, her smile dying out.

[Blaiiine]

Tyler stopped, his ears drooping slightly and his tail no longer wagging. "No...no, it's okay.." He quietly said, before climbing up on the nearby bed. Laying there, he stared at his own small flip lighter as he fumbled with it through his paw.

She immediately felt bad, sitting there. "Alright, fine." She said, "But I'm not gonna ramble on, you at least have to ask me a question to get me started." She said with the slightest smile.

[Blaiiine]

Tyler hopped off the bed and slid back down next to Kai, taking a moment to put his cigarette out.


"Let's just start with...David. I know you haven't been able to mourn him, Kai." Tyler said, in a matter of fact way.

"Well uh... I knew him a couple years..." She laced her fingers together, "One of the only people that accepted me..."

[Blaiiine]

"Apart from Holly?" Tyler asked, placing a paw on Kai's interlaced fingers. "He seemed like a...great guy from the few times I met him before..."

[cuzyeahboi]

"Apart from Holly. Yeah. Open, friendly... Hurts to know almost everybody like him is dead by now." She opened her paw/hands and held his hand.

[Blaiiine]

"I honestly doubt that...we survive. People like us..." Tyler said, pointing to Kai and himself. "We find a way. We fight the dead."
