spreading the dancing flame

the forest dies

The mistress of modern life
yet also the lowest servant
she can bring light to your life
or strip it away
both within an instant
her uses and names number in thousands
yet they are discarded as nothing
she has saved many lives when tamed
and ended others when she runs wild
but we shall always forgive her
When her time comes to leave
many lives will be lost
but not a "thank you" uttered
