*** Victoria ***

"Don't jinx yourself, pal," Zuko chuckled. The trees above rustled, and a shimmering figure stood among the branches. His eyes flashed momentarily. "Don't shoot - it'll only provoke him. He's not here for us." As though in confirmation, the Predator landed on the ground before them with a thump! and de-cloaked, looking between Zuko and Blaine. A slow, guttural croak came from him.

*** Draco City Government Enclave, Dragon'taan ***

"I don't know all the details of them - to get the specifics, you'll have to speak to the head of the Dragon'taan Crusaders - Mathayus Indari. He knows them better than anyone," Makkar replied. "What I do know was that the Sith are - or were - a break-off faction of Dark Jedi, who were exiled into unknown space by the Jedi Order after an unsuccessful rebellion. These exiles would come across the worlds of Korriban, Ziost, and Dromund Kaas, and over the course of many years, would build what became known as the Sith Empire."

[Blaiiine]

Blaine slowly stood up, gesturing for the men behind to hold fire. He took his helmet and stared it down. "What the hell do you want?" Blaine whispered, keeping a firm grip on his gun. Zuko may have been fine talking with a Yaut'ja, but Blaines' programmed instinct was always kill first, ask questions after. It seemed the same for Daniels as he stood behind Blaine, battle rifle shouldered and finger by the trigger.

The Yaut'ja looked to Blaine, then removed two wires in his mask, then the mask itself. He stared at Zuko and Blaine, then uttered, "Sith... hunt... Sith..."

"What is the Sith doing here?" Zuko asked. "What's he after?"

"Sith... search... Ra-ka-tan..." the Predator responded.

The name "Rakatan" caused Zuko to blink in recognition. "So Nazar is looking for something Rakatan here in UNSC Space," he surmised. "But what?"

The Yaut'ja had an answer, albeit not a clear one: "Star... Forge..." Zuko frowned in confusion, not recognizing what the Predator spoke.

[Blaiiine]

Blaine stared at the Predator, then looked to Zuko. "A star forge...I read something on the Rakatan a long time ago. The forge was a myth, a way to create a massive army," Blaine said, almost doubting the Yaut'ja. "If he's right and it does exist, Nazar really is making an army. And he's using the rebels as distractions." Blaine quietly stated, waiting for a response.

[Shoon]

---Draco City Government Enclave, Dragon'taan---
"I see" Shoon paused for a brief moment "And what are those "Jedi"? I military order?"

"A Star Forge..." Zuko repeated. "But... that can't be... the Star Forge was destroyed by Darth Revan centuries ago."

"Faasnu... know... tell... Infinite... Engine..." The Predator said, before donning his mask and disappearing.

"Faasnu..." Zuko whispered. He turned to Blaine. "When you explain this to Andrew, tell him to seek out Mathayus Indari on Dragon'taan; Faasnu was his old Sith name. Something tells me that the Infinite Engine the Predator mentioned and the Star Forge are related, but we don't have time to find out - we need to move before the enemy realizes they're in danger."

*** Draco City Government Enclave, Dragon'taan ***

"I know next to nothing about the Jedi Order, save that they are definitely not a military order. Not entirely. Only when the battles grow desperate do the Jedi involve themselves in military operations. Ordinarily, they're more like police, negotiators, ambassadors, peacekeepers... they take on many tasks. No one can really, definitively, define their order as one thing or another," Makkar explained.

[Blaiiine]

Blaine nodded and donned his helmet, gesturing for the men to follow. He took off, sprinting towards the camp. Occasionally he'd stop, look around and take off again. Once they arrived at the perimeter fence, he stopped and ordered someone to cut through the fencing. "Okay, Lee's squad is in position. Zuko, when we get in go stealth and shadow the envoy," Blaine said, looking at the Sangheili. "Your best bet is hitching his ride to the flagship. When you're ready, radio me and I'll start up." The fence snapped back and Daniels moved his men through, waiting on Zuko and Blaine.

Zuko hit his PCD and vanished, moving unusually quiet for such a large warrior. He moved about the camp, and eventually spotted the Envoy. Extravagant armor, indeed - and heavily modified, it seemed. He was speaking to a Rebel Advisor.

"Zuko to Blaine - I have the Envoy in sight," Zuko whispered on his radio. He looked behind them, and spotted the Envoy's ship. "I know how I'll get aboard the enemy flagship - wait for my signal, then launch the attack. You'll know it when you see it." He then went near the waiting drop ship - which was foolishly unguarded - and unslung the alien rifle, shouldered it, and fired a shot at a Rebel Anti-Aircraft gun. The shot hit the ammo supply and detonated it, taking a squad of Innies with it. Zuko then boarded the drop ship and hid.

"Go hot, go hot," Blaine said over the comms, Lee's squad immediately firing sniper rounds on a machine gun position. Daniel's squad ran into the square, dropping Innies left and right. Blaine moved forward, firing his gun at multiple targets. He dropped behind a older Warthog, reloading his weapons. Daniels and another troop ran and fell beside him, breathing heavily. "We got to drop that gunner, Lee can't hit him." Daniels yelled, bullets whizzing by. Blaine looked over the hood of the Warthog, seeing the envoys Phantom flee the scene. He was then forced down when a hail of gunfire zipped past his head. Over the comms, he contacted Andrew. "Hey do us a favor down here. Put a shell in that building firing on us!" Blaine yelled.

[Romulan_Furry]

"Copy that," Frosty responded. Moments later, a MAC strike came from above and obliterated the target.

[Blaiiine]

A cloud of ash and dirt descended upon them, rebels and ODSTs coughing. Blaine stood up, his VISR activating and headlamps coming on. Before he could speak, a hum and flash of red light lit up the square. "Oh hell.." Daniels whispered. Blue plasma bolts began flying from within the camp, striking a few rebels. As the dust settled, it became clear. The Sith and Predator were clashing in the square. "Andrew, drop those Maruaders! Lee, get the hell over here!" Blaine yelled over comms, still shooting rebels who had survived the MAC strike.

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ****


Fawn followed Mathayus and Kyle into the meditation room, he then explained all he said to Mathayus, word for word, "But to continue,  The Dracon family apparently disappeared, having been killed through raiders...  I find that hard to believe that a whole race was killed by raiders...", as he had explained this all, a dark aura could be felt around him if one possessed a way to view the aura.

Gypsie stepped back as Kyle moved around her, then suddenly, her legs gave out and with a loud pang, she hit her head off a water output pipe.    Gypsie laid motionless on the floor, slowly fading out of conciousness as she watched Kyle, managing to still speak, "Plan?  Go? Escape?... no an... anger... c-calm...", she was still holding on, but only barely.

*Steady, sir," Kyle cautioned Fawn with a concerned look.

"His aura grows dark," Mathayus said.

"I can see that, Mathayus!" Kyle snapped at his brother. "Fawn... are you absolutely certain on all this?"

"I didn't want to believe that rumor," Mathayus sighed. "But if Fawn is right... Reece will require more than a court-martial."

"The Dragonarians are gonna be pissed," Kyle said.

*** Victoria ***

Light energized, and several Sangheili Marauders were transported down, and began dispatching the rebels as they tried to surround Nazar and the Predator.

*** Tau Dewa ***

Kyle's eyes shifted purple as he extinguished his lightsabers and ran to Gypsie's side. Her head was bleeding, and he didn't have the tools with him to help her himself, nor did he understand her tribal medicine. She was fading in and out of consciousness. He didn't have a choice. He tripped a button in his cloak, then held Gypsie close. "Hang in there, friend... I'm gonna get you out of here."

[Blaiiine]

"Circle up, guns on the Sith!" Blaine ordered as Lee's squad appeared. They aimed at the Sith, though still watching the Predator for any moves. Blaine took his helmet off and readjusted his aim. "Drop the damn saber or I'll make you drop it.." Blaine growled. "I'd do what he says.." Daniels said, standing parallel from Blaine. The wind slightly picked up, blowing dust and ash between the standoff. Blaine waited for a response or something from the Sith.

***Meditation Room, Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***


Fawn still glowed with the dark glow,  his anger being immense.  Fawn clenched his teeth, "Yes.  I am certain."

Gypsie nodded as she drifted out of conciousness, her body paint glowing gently as she laid asleep in his arms, her ears twitching as water droplets hit her ears.
