Comic idea
« on: November 14, 2015, 12:21:52 PM »
This is an idea for a comic that I've been working on for a very long, but considering I can't draw this may never happen xD

First of might as well talk about the chars in the story, it's sort of "Game of Thrones" like, there is no real protagonist, instead it's a bunch of separate stories that weave together in the same world.

Actually first let me explain some background about the world:

The world is an anthro world of course, the story's basic premise is this. In this world, magic exists, but it follows very specific mathematical and physical rules and only the best and brightest are able to use magic to it's full potential. According to the theory in this universe, each point in space has 6 coordinates, (x,y,z,E,T,F) the E coordinate is Energy or Light, it also represents time (as c is constant), it is the act of controlling light, electricity and what-not. The T coordinate is Temperature, it controls fire, ice and so forth, and the final coordinate is Force, pushing and pulling. Every single inhabitant of the world has a lifeforce which acts as potential to stimulate the last three coordinates of universe, E, T and F. Every lifeform can naively modify their life force via a series of hand movements to bring fire, light or force to the physical world, this is known as their "Active Power". However, active power is usually extremely small and requires sophisticated hand movements, the best anyone can generally do with Active power is cause a small spark. People can wear life-force amplifying gems and use arm signals that mimic the hand signals to create a more powerful blast from their active power, but these gems are considered illegal and are only used by criminals or the police force. The true power of the magi comes from their potential, in which they can shift their life force directly with their mind, they can create a potential via this shifting of their life force, which when activated by their active power can cause sophisticated and powerful events to occur. But only the best and brightest have this ability, people have to study years and years to get to this power so people who can do this are few in number.

The story starts with an unknown cat, in a nightclub, picking up a girl and showing off his jewelry and expensive suit. No words are spoken, he takes the girl out of the club and down the street, laughing and looking very happy, in the distance however is a hooded figure, his eyes glowing white. As his eyes dim to a normal colour, he flicks his wrist in several formation and causes a spark to flow out of his finger, the cat notices this but it's too late. From the spark a torrent of fire spreads down the street, hitting a car and exploding it, killing the girl instantly and leaving the cat in a disfigured state, dying. As the cat dies, he looks up to see where the hooded figure was, but he has disappeared. The story starts.

ORGANIZATIONS:

The Police: The police force in the community, attempting to hunt both Savage, the Angels and the crones, they are generally the force of order in the comics.

The Angels: The largest criminal empire in the city, it is headed by the mysterious and psychopathic Angel. The community has been in a full scale war with the Crones, but by the time the comic starts the war is almost over as the crones have become nothing but only a few small sects, being slowly hunted down the remaining Angels. Interestingly, the angels have kidnapped all the mages of the Crones, to places unknown.

The Crones: The sworn enemies of the angels, they are constantly attempting to survive against the far more superior threat of the Angels. SPOILER Savage was the former leader of the crones, knowing of the Angels true objective, they are handing magi's over to the governance for a hefty pay out, he decides destroying the angels will be too hard, so he'll simply destroy the governance.

The Blackmill Society: The Black Mill society is a secret society of hitman, not even known by the police until near the end. The governance is one of their clients, and generally they are the governance's arms arms. They have an alliance with the Angels and even have a diplomatic body guard there to make things in check.

The Governance: The Governance is a mysterious group of highly wealthy individuals who SPOILER, with help from a scientist, are using the magi from mages to get immortality. Only later, it is unveiled, that getting immortality is impossible, and instead they are just looking youthful, the scientist is actually using the powers to add to his own active power, turning him into a psuedo-demi god, without the knowledge of anyone in the governance.

CHARACTERS:

Savage: The hooded figure in the beginning, named Savage by the media, he is mysteriously hunting down very important corporate figures in the dead of night. His origin is not known (at the start) and the police are on his tail, though curiously so are several criminal organizations including the Angels and the BlackMill society. What is Savage hunting down? Who is he?

Aiden: Aiden is a university student (wolf) in professor McCarthy's Magi class. While not a mage himself, his father is the police commissioner of the city. He finds out that his roommate and best friend Bayson has been selling narcotics to make ends meet. Through several events he finds himself caught up in a web of conspiracy and intrigue. Aiden is very astute and intelligent student, he is rather naive and does not want to get into any trouble, often being put into dangers way rather than seeking it.

Bayson: Aiden's best friend, is also a university student (species not sure yet) and always hangs around with Aiden but is much more rash and impulsive than Aiden is. In order to make ends meet and pay his expensive tuition fees Bayson resorts to illegal activities, which get him in affiliation with the Angels, the dominant drug rink in the city. During a small drug deal, they cross paths with Savage and everything goes wrong, Bayson finds himself caught up in a web of conspiracies, dragging Aiden along with it.

Captain Phillips: Captain phillips is a wolf and captain of the local police force. He is constantly on the hunt for Savage, though he believes that hunting The Angels will be a much more worthwhile cause. Though his superiors constant push to find out who Savage is has made him suspect there is more to this situation that he believes.

Professors McCarthy: Professor McCarthy (Fox) is the professor within the university, teaching the magi class. He is considered one of the greatest mages in the world, however, when he was young, like most mages, he was enlisted in the army and used his magical abilities in warfare. Traumatized and ashamed about what had occurred, he became a pacifist, refusing to harm anyone and using his magi skills to teach people how to help. However, Captain Phillips enlists his help, with his power of knowledge of mages, to find help him find Savage, as the story continues he struggles not to go back to his old ways of blood shed.

Angel: The Mysterious leader of The Angels drug rink, he (Fox) is the merciless and psycopathic leader of the Angels. While the public portrays him as a merciless killer who is actively satisfied by the act of killing and torture, the reality is much more sophisticated. Angel is very cold, calculating and charismatic, he does care about those under his command, however he will kill any one of them if the event meant it was beneficial. He feels no joy in murdering people, but he feels no regret, being a true psychopath he simply lacks any sort of empathy. Because of this, in his constant neutral expression and demeanour no one can get a read of him and all his actions seem extremely unexpected. This is one of the reasons most people are extremely on edge on when talking to him, cause no one knows if they'll be given $1,000 or a bullet in the next few minutes. Killing someone to him is a bothersome chore, but a chore that must be done.

Chelsea: Angels right hand man (Cheetah), Chelsea and Angel are extremely close. Chelsea is of a light build and is much more sadistic than angel, actively enjoying the act of killing, but not because of sadism, simply because of power. Chelsea is extremely intelligent, he is only about 19 years old and already is 2nd in command of one of the largest criminal organizations in the city. He wants to constantly show people he is truly superior to them. He is dangerous and crafty, a very dangerous combination.

Duras: Duras (Lynx (?)) is the only mage in the entire of the Angels sect, and generally people are surprised that she is even allowed there considering the Angels have gone a large mission kidnapping every mage around for mysterious purposes. She wears the amplifying gems but also has the ability to create potentials, making her one of the most powerful mages in the comic book (but she is still not as powerful as Professor McCarthy). She is on the hunt for Savage, and later Professor McCarthy, as Angel requests.

Duit: (Wolf) The Bodygaurd of Angel, he isn't actually part of the Angels but instead part of the Black Mill Society, a hitman society that is recruited by any benefactor for protection or generally any illegal matters. He acts as both a body guard and a diplomat for Angel and Black Mill Society (which Angel used to be a part of). He is there to protect the interests of a third party, the mysterious organization known as The Governence.

Luid: Luid (bear) is another member of the black mill society, he is employed by the Governance and is tasked to track down Savage with Felix. Luid and Felix are inseparable, as Luid has taken care of Felix since Felix was a little cub. Luid always wears a suit and is generally mild mannered, friendly and calm, which generally gives people the wrong impression, as he is still a hitman. He carries a sawn-off silences shotgun as his main weapon of choice and him and Felix are considered perhaps the most dangerous duo in the entire story.

Felix: Felix is one of many of Angel's Bastard sons. Left for dead after his mother was killed by drug dealers (The Crones, the Angels rivals), he has a very troubled childhood. He was eventually picked up by Luid, and knowing his ancestory saw him as an important asset. Seeing his ability to kill, he recruited him and began to train him, now at the age of 17 Felix covers his face all the times with a bandana like mask, always following Luid's orders as a loyal servant. Due to his traumatic past, Felix has become suicidal, stating the only reason he is still alive is because of Luid's influence. Him and Luid are on the hunt for savage.

The Boss: The mysterious leader of the Blackmill society, he would only be shown near the end of comic, but talked about a lot. Turns out he is a racoon, but with an extremely leathel and almost god-like ability in killing, he is considered the the 2nd most dangerous entity in the story, second to the primary antagonist, who won't be revealed here.

Here's a brief run down of the plot, this isn't the entire plot obviously as there'd be many exposition scenes and filler scenes and what-not. This is also full of spoilers, but here it is anyway. Each act is the name of the antagonist for that act.

Act 1: Savage

A important man walks down a street, picking up a girl, in the corner of his eye he spots a hooded figure, who uses magic to cast a massive fireball that explodes a car nearby, both the girl and the guy die as the hooded figure disappears, the title sequence appears. It cuts to Aiden and Bayson, listening to a lecture by Mr. McCarthy explaining (and using exposition) the fundamental principles of magic. At the end of the lecture, Aiden, extremely interested in the art, goes up to McCarthy and asks an advanced question, in which Prof. McCarthy offers to show him the answer after class. As they come back Bayson reveals to Aiden that he has been selling drugs for money, which gives a very displeased and surprised response by Aiden. As they walk back to their dorm, a man stands outside the door, which Bayson explains is one of the representitives of the angel clan, giving a very uncertain reply by Aiden. The figure tells them of a drug deal that's going on that they want to him to attend, Bayson agrees with a very uncertain Aiden, noting that Aiden won't be able to tag along because he wants to meet up with the professor for that extra study.

It then cuts to a scene of Captain Phillips, Aidens father, investigating the crime scene from the night before. Noting that it's another case of Savage, his lieutenant, Lisa, tells him that there isn't much evidence and that witnesses say he simply vanished from thin air, something the captain has heard before. The captain says that desperate times call for desperate measures, and says he will be enlisting the help of Professor McCarthy, a wellknown mage within the city. The scene cuts to two mysterious figures, Luid and Felix, getting a phone call and listening in. Luid tells Felix they have a new job, to hunt down this one they call Savage, Felix seems bored and uninterested but doesn't protest. Luid tells Felix that it was it has something to do with Angels crew, and if anyone had a problem with Angel it'd be the crones, so they go off to a location where some crones are still available.

Later that night, Bayson shows up with the angel representitive, Aaron, as they eagerly await the drug deal with a customer. However, it turns out the customer for this drug deal is a very wealthy business man, in charge of a large tech organization. Just then, Savage appears and uses magic to kill wealthy client, also attempting to kill both Aaron, Bayson and the rest of the Angel crew, Bayson and Aaron manage to escape but most don't make it, Bayson manages to see Savage disappear in a puff of green smoke, light coming from an amulet around his neck. Aaron says he'll report back to Angel and tells Bayson to hide it out, in which case Bayson runs off to find Aiden. Aiden, on the other hand, is studying with professor McCarthy, McCarthy explains further details about how Magi works and demonstrates by creating a fire ring around them. It's impressive, suddenly the door opens and Aiden turns around to see his father, Captain Phillips, and some police officers returning. Surprised he questions his father what he's doing and his father tells him to leave, and that he apologizes. Aiden leaves, but not before eaves dropping into their conversation, in which he finds that the captain tells McCarthy to study Savages movements and abilities, saying that he seems to disappear from crime scenes and can create a unique fireball that he's never seen. McCarthy agrees to study the situation and reports back. The captain decides to go back to the station, as he walks home though he sees a crime scene, a man held up by his entrails on a street lamp with police all around. He asks what this is and anoher police officer tells him that it was a crone attacked by the Angels. Annoyed that this is handled by another department, and annoyed that this wasn't reported to him, he wonders why such an atrocity can occur with seemingly no backlash.

The scene cuts to Darus, receiving a phone call from angel, who constructs her to find Savage and set something up to lure him out again. She smirks and replies she'll do it. Then the scene cuts to Luid and Felix as they casually talk about stuff walking down up some steps in an apartment building. When they get to a door they get to work, they bash down the door to find two crones in the room. The crones, who have been reluctant informants for Luid and Felix before, don't attack but the situation is very tense. Felix and Luid ask whether they know who savage is, in which one of the crones responds, unconvincingly, with no, Luid, noting he lies, points his shotgun straight at him and asks again. After some convincing the Crone eventually devulges that he doesn't know, but he heard a superior talk about him, at one of the largest and last crone holdouts. Meanwhile, a hidden third crone is in the third room, strikes out of the door with a gun, planning to shoot both Luid and Felix. However, he is almost immediately killed by Felix, as Felix had already heard the man behind the door, the second man springs into action but is also killed immediately by Felix, who has duel wield pistols. The first guy, still held at gunpoint by Luid, who hasn't flinched this whole time, indulges the rest of his information, including where the hideout is, before being killed by Luid.

The scene cuts back to Aiden as he returns to his dorm to see a very distressed Bayson , he asks Bayson what's wrong and Bayson explains the situation of what happened with Savage earlier. Aiden comforts Bayson but says the information could be useful to McCarthy in his investigation and they need to know what to do, so they decide to talk to professor McCarthy, who is now at his office about to sleep. When the boys arrive they tell McCarthy of this information, in which McCarthy tells them to stay out of it, but thanks them for the interesting information, in particular the ameluet. He comforts the boys and tells them they should be ok, but gives them his number in case they need any help. They go back to the dorm as the professor thinks to himself about how Savage managed to do this stuff.

The next day the boys sleep in after some long nights, when they hear a knocking on their dorm door. When they open Aaron is standing there, in which Bayson asks what he's doing here. He says that he needs to do another deal with another client, which Bayson refuses, however Aaron informs him that if he does not do this Angel would be unhappy and he threatens him, in which Bayson reluctantly, and fearfully agrees. Aiden, not wanting Bayson to go alone decides to comfort him and decides to go with Bayson. The boys ring professor McCarthy and inform them that they're being forced by a drug deal, which seems very similar to the one Savage attacked before, McCarthy tells the boys to stay out of it, but notes the new information. Bayson convinces Aiden that they need to go, despite what McCarthy said, as they can go and simply hide, the reasoning is basically if they don't go they could be hunted down by the entire angel crew, but it's also clear Bayson finds the whole deal relatively exciting as well. Professor McCarthy, noting how dangerous Savage is, decides to not ring captain phillips about his new likely appearance, not wanting more people to be hurt, he decides he'll take matters into his own hands, but not killing him, simply subduing him and finding out what he wants.

The scene cuts to Luid and Felix again, as they approach a heavily fortified warehouse of the crones, a great action scene commences in which the two effortless fight their way through the crones warehouse and get to the now leader of the crones, Maxis. After some interrogation and torture, Maxis tells them that Savage was the former leader of the Crones, but where he went to and why he has gone to killing these individuals is unknown, however he simply mentions the word "Governance", in which both Luid and Felix seem unimpressed, they shoot Maxis in the both his legs, then ring angel, telling them they left a gift for him.

The scene cuts to the next night and the final scene of Act 1. Aiden, Bayson and Aaron are walking to a large abandoned warehouse, Bayson questions Aaron about the supsiciously large Angel appearance and the fact that this seems oddly the same as last nights encounter. In which Aaron responds that no drug deal is actually taking place, he hands Bayson a handgun and tells him that they're luring Savage out, a plan formulated by Darus, who waits on the roof of the warehouse patiently. McCarthy, noting the large influx of Angel people, enters the warehouse and sees that Aiden and Bayson are there, despite his wishes not to be, he curses and decides to go into the warehouse via a different route. Meanwhile, Captain phillips and few police officers are waiting ideally by watching the Angels deal, he was in fact secretly tipped off by Aiden, about the coming location of both the angels and the likely trap of Savage. As the Angels crowd into the warehouse to commence their fake deal, a fake person who is disguised as another wealthy business man appears, in which case Savage predictably appears out of thing air and fires a large fireball. The angel crew start attacking, but Savage turns out to be too strong for them, Aiden and Bayson decide to run away as the action commences but they see Aaron get hit by a fireball and die. Finally, Savage finds he is being overwhelmed and teleports out of the scene, teleporting to a nearby hallway. He, sensing a presence walking towards him, his eyes shine white as he attempts to set up a potential for another fireball. McCarthy walks towards Savage, in which savage fires his next fireball at him, McCarthy, however, effortlessly deflects it. Savage questions who he is and how he managed to create a potential vector so quickly, McCarthy explains he has studied the act of Magi for his whole life and is considered one of the best in the world. He explains that he has studied his reports and notices that Savage isn't actually a true Magi, only remembering the one technique and simply applying it everywhere, without actually understanding the inherent mathematics and physics behind the technique, meaning that he must wait a long time to set up a potential, and his fireball is very weak. In which McCarthy fires a fireball of his own that's much more powerful, causing Savage to leap out of the way. Savage, waiting at a different corridor attempts to set up another vector potential for another fireball but notices that McCarthy has already sent another one towards him. Knowing he is totally outmatched he decides to teleport behind a large wall into another room, however McCarthy explodes the wall, informing him he can track the potential energy he leaves behind when he teleports. Savage explains to McCarthy what he's doing and why, telling him of a mysterious organization known as the Governance. Little did both of them know both Aiden and Bayson had ran away into the room that they were both at, they listened into the conversation.

As Savage explains that the governance is using mages to become immortal, Darus leaps from the sealing shooting lightning everywhere and blinding both McCarthy and Savage. Darus, not taking much note of McCarthy attempts to subdue Savage, however she is shocked when McCarthy shoots a fireball at her, she dodges it and quips that his fire magi won't do anything with her lightning magi. In which case McCarthy agrees, and then fires lightning at Darus, to a degree that almost superseeds her own. Surprised by his ability she realises she is outmatched, during their battle Savage flees, noting that Savage fled she blinds McCarthy again, and flees the scene. McCarthy goes to follow her but hears gunshots and explosions coming from the other side of the building, it is shown that the police have arrived and are arresting all the angels that were at the vicinity, McCarthy, not wanting be labelled an outlaw for taking matters into his own hands, leaves the scene. The boys leave the scene as well, but not before Aiden, noting what they had heard, asks "If they're getting Mages, how are they doing that?". In which case a shot appears of a silloutted figure sitting on a chair surrounded by companions. They have a small conversation about the incoming events, and one of the guys introduces the silloutted character as Angel.

And that's the end of act 1 and the beginning of Act 2: Angel.

Two things-

First-

This idea is actually intriguing, especially since you have implemented physics and mathematics into the use of magic. That is a very reasonable and logical approach to how to implement magic into a modern style world. I quite enjoyed your first "screenplay" on act one.

Second-
You should of said "End Scene" after part one.  ;)

Haha thanks Celestial! Yeah that's the hope I was going for, in a modern world things are generally explainable, and magic is always seen as something that isn't. I took this queue from Fullmetal alchemist, in which Alchemy (which is basically magic) is considered more of a science than a magic. I also always thought how powerful mages were in stories and stuff, and I figured if a mage was THAT powerful, than everyone would be a mage. I wanted powerful mages but I wanted also to make sure there were very few mages. I thought I could just say "people need to study to be mages", but that doesn't really capture the idea of it being hard or it requiring work. So I thought, what's something that most people find hard, well Math! So I figured that in order to be a mage, you'd need to be well versed in mathematics and physical ideals XD

Act 2:

Where act 1 left off, Aiden, Bayson and McCarthy have just learned of the mysterious organization "The Governance", and the identity of Savage was also revealed to be the old leader of the "Crones" gang, hunting the members of the Governance. McCarthy left the scene, as did Aiden and Bayson. Unfortunately for the two of them, they were quickly found by Darus, who had left the scene as well. Bayson attempts to use the handgun on Darus but fails to fire it, being too nervous and shaky, Darius notices the two boys and kidnaps them, taking them to Angel. Meanwhile, as professor McCarthy leaves the scene, he discovers an injured Savage, conflicted McCarthy wonders whether to help or not, McCarthy interrogates Savage some more, asking what the Governance is doing with the mages, Savage explains that all the rich and powerful individuals of the state are using the potentials from deceased mages to increase their own lifespans, making them immortal. After learning this information, McCarthy agrees to help Savage on his quest to hunt down the Governance.

Captain Phillips is with Lieutenant Lisa and the rest of his squad, wrapping up at the angels warehouse, arresting many Angels. Suddenly Commissionar Zhang approaches him and seems displeased at what Captain Phillips has been doing, claiming he is overstepping his boundaries and giving vague threats. Captain Phillips begins to wonder whether there is some corruption higher up in the force, a corruption that is helping protect the Angels gang. The scene then cuts to a dark throne room, in this room both Aiden and Bayson are tied up and gagged. Standing in front of them are four characters, Duit (a built wolf), Darus, Chelsea (A smirking cheetah) and in the center of them, citing on a chair lazily holding a side arm, Angel. Two unnamed guards unmask and ungag both the afraid Aiden and Bayson, in which a small conversation is had. Angel speaks with a calm voice, asking several questions about the boys affairs and what why they were at the scene. During this conversation Bayson snaps, insulting angel and all his crew and making very crude remarks, Aiden pleads for Bayson to calm down, but angel stands up without speaking, and without flinching points his gun and fires, to the shock of Duit and Duras, but the delight of Chelsea.

There is black, then suddenly eyes open, but Bayson is the one who opens his eyes, as Aiden has been killed. Bayson screams, and sorrowfully demands to know why Angel killed Aiden when it was Bayson who was doing the insulting, in which Angel replies "He feels no sorrow now, you do, the true punishment is keeping you alive" (( though obviously something better and more thought out than that)). Angel demands that Bayson be taken to a cell, and as the boys take him away the scene goes black. It opens to Luid and Felix, sitting on a beach front, they begin discussing matters of life and so forth. Felix reveals to the viewer (though Luid already knows) that he is suicidal, due to a troubling childhood, and claims that Luid is the only thing truly keeping him alive. Luid tells him to shut up and focus on the job, they begin to walk back to their home, to report everything that's happened to the Governance. The scene fades back to Angel, Angel is walking down a hallway with Duit, Duit expresses outrage at Angel killing the boy saying that not only was it a cruel move but it was tactless, as Aiden is the son of Captain Phillips, someone they could of leveraged. Angel says they must keep the boys, as they are both important, the Governance has interest in Branson in particular. Angel then responds by saying Captain Phillips doesn't know his son his dead, and doesn't need to know until the time is just right. He claims that all his actions are for a reason and that he needs to trust him. Duit angrily explains that the Governance has not been happy with his recent disregard for human life and that they believe he is bringing too much attention to himself, they claim that the Blackmill society, the hitman group that Duit works for, may be pulled out of his service and protection if continues to act this way. Angel ignores the remark, and walks into a room, where we see a torturer, Marcus, and a badly injured and tortured Maxis (recall act 1: Current leader of the crones, taken by Luid and Felix, also people of the blackmill society), in the room. Marcus reveals that Maxis hasn't told Luid and Felix everything and that he's hiding stuff from him, but Marcus has failed to extract any information from him. Angel, frustrated at Marcus's incompetence, holds a gun up to a fearful Marcus, he contemplates for a second and without saying anything points the gun at Maxis instead. Maxis claims he won't tell him anything, Angel then responds by saying "You will not survive, I can promise that, one way or another you will die. All I have left to give is this, I can shoot you now, and you will die painlessly, or I can torture you for another 4 weeks, and you can die in the most painful way known to man. Whatever the scenario, you will die, no one will come after you, you will feel no more guilt or suffering, but you will die in one of two ways, and no more." Maxis, contemplating what Angel has said, quietly mutters he wants to die, and tells Angel more about Savage, such as how the amuleat was made and where he is likely to strike next. Maxis then closes his eyes as Angel shoots him. Angel tells Marcus he is no longer on Torture duty, and demotes him to guard the prisoners that they have.

Savage and McCarthy are at a hidden location, discussing their next steps to taking down the governance. Savage says that he only has an incomplete list of people in the governance and he needs a more complete list of all the people that could be in it. He claims that he believes the police are involved, and that from his general affairs he as a police access card that can get him into some secure documents. The only problem is that he needs to break into the police headquarters, and even if he does sneak in he'll be detected by all the alarms and automated security measures. McCarthy says he'll disable the alarms and Savage can teleport in to get the files. The scene then cuts to Angel and Chelsea, making love in a rather unfamiliar and non-romantic way. Once they are finished, Chelsea claims to Angel that he doesn't trust the governance or Duit, and he continues to believe that Duit is secretly out to oust them. Angel dismisses these remarks, he does agree that they are on thin ice with the governance, but he believes the governance has been a driving force for the Angels, keeping the police out of their affairs. An unnamed angels gang-member then breaks into the room, startled to see a naked Angel, unphased Angel calmly asks what's wrong, he claims that the last of the crones are going on a final assault on a large Angel drug trade. Angel tells them to get Duit on it and quietly explains to Chelsea to go oversea the assault.

Captain phillips is at his desk, late at night, looking over old documents. More and more he sees connections between his superiors and dubious deals with the Angels. He questions why his superiors are protecting them and believes it must be something to do with money. He rings Lisa and tells her of his plan to investigate this corruption and for her to go safe. Suddenly, all the lights go out at the police headquarters and all the security goes silent, captain phillips is alone. It is revealed, that McCarthy was the one who disabled the security systems by using Lightning Magi, Savage teleports into the office straight to where the documents are and quickly steals them. However Phillips goes in and sees Savage before savage sees phillips, Phillips shoots at savage and hits him in the shoulder, Savage, holding the documents he needs, quickly teleports out of the way, a trail of blood suspiciously leading a trail of where he teleported. Phillips runs after the trail with his gun drawn, as he approaches street level he sees savage limping away with another figure. He draws his gun about to shoot both the figures dead when suddenly the other figure looks at him, revealing himself to be professor McCarthy. Phillips has a moment of confusion, which allows Savage to teleport them both away to safety. Phillips ponders what is going on.

Duit and Chelsea are waiting patiently with several hidden guards, overseeing the drug deal. Chelsea explains to Duit his hate for the governance and the BlackMill "lapdogs" and shows his hate for Duit and the rest of his "cronies". Duit, ignores him, though shows visible annoyance at Chelsea's comments. Suddenly the crones ambush spring and several crones, including magi's, go to disrupt the Angel's drug deal. But the counter-ambush commences, and Duit and the guards jump in to shoot and kill all of the remaining crones. The last of the crones are devastated, and only the Magi's are left standing. Duit says to keep the Magi's alive for the governance, but instead Chelsea orders his men to kill them all, which they comply. Extremely angry angrily asks Chelsea what he is doing, disobeying the Governance wishes. Chelsea than says to leave, and that they don't need the Governance anymore. Seeing he is outnumbered and outmatched, Duit leaves.

Branson is tied up in a backalley garage, as his cell. He is depressed, constantly going over what had happened with Aiden, suffering from survivals guilt and what believing it was his fault. Outside two guards stand duty, Marcus walks up to both the guards and tells them to go off duty as he'll handle the rest of the shift alone. The other guards leave, Marcus then enters the cell and sees Branson. Marcus then starts assaulting Branson, and unties him. Branson is left helpless as Marcus has his way with him (not shown, but heavily implied). Scene cuts to Chelsea coming back to Angel, explaining to Angel that one of his men killed one of the Magi's, not under Chelsea's order (a lie). Chelsea then explains that Duit was so infuriated he left the Angels, and is going to call Felix and Luid to take Angel out. Angel believes Chelsea's story and administers a force to go kill Duit before he can administer the order. The scene then cuts to Duit, relaxing in his appartment, not making any such order. However, after seeing a few of Angels crews come inside he preps for the ambush. As angel men invade his appartment he begins going on an onslaught, killing something like 15 of his men before finally he is shot, and fatally wounded.

Branson is left alone in his cell once more, clearly even more scarred from before. He begins to get desperate for an escape, he starts practicing the fire-conjuring he learned from professor McCarthy, even though he was unable to successfully do it. As he continues to practice these techniques, he gets more and more desperate, an internal monologue about everything has happened goes through and how his situation is worthless. Suddenly, a flicker of light emits from his fingertips as a very small spark bursts out of his hands, an active effect. Seeing this spark, Branson clenches his fist, maybe there is some hope after all. McCarthy and Savage begin researching the documents that they stole, McCarthy discovers in horror that Angel has captured both Aiden and Branson and they believe they are holding them both captive. McCarthy demands that the hunt for the Governance be postponed until they rescue the boys, to which Savage reluctantly agrees. A scene goes to Felix and Luid on the phone, they hear that Duit was killed by the angels and that they need to retaliate. However just as the phone conversation was about to end a mysterious letter is sent through their front door, the letter is handwritten and simply says "We were framed, we didn't kill Duit, the crones did. Meet us Simple-Point and we can discuss what happened, -Angel". Luid and Felix talk with Mr. Blackmill, who says he is bringing a new assassin over for the demonstrations, unless they get bad.

Angel sits patiently by with Duras, as Chelsea returns and explains that Duit has been killed. But unfortunately, he made the order too late, but he knows that the blackmill assassins will be meeting at Simple Point to discuss their plans. Chelsea recommends to Angel that they have a full frontal force ready to attack when the assassins convene, to which Angel agrees and assembles his force. The shot then goes to captain phillips, about to arrive home, still contemplating everything that's happened. He then sees a letter outside his house that his hand written, as he picks it up it reads "We have your son, meet us at simple point for negotiations." Infuriated, and knowing this is the Angels doing, he assembles a task force to go to Simple point. Savage and McCarthy, who were secretly tailing Phillips for any new information, discover where the event will be happening and agree to go to Simple Point as well.

Final Scene: Act 2: Battle of Simple Point.

A large, under construction, 5 story building towers over a construction yard at Simple point. Angel stands one the second-highest floor, Chelsea claims he will go to the roof as a sniper. Darus goes out scouting around the corners, the rest of the 4 floors are filled with Angels goons. McCarthy and Savage get to the scene, and quickly hide, not realizing the sheer amount of Angels presence. Then Luid and Felix appear, with a third assassin Marcello, they question the large force, and immediately assume it was a trap, and begin taking cover as Angels force open fires. Luid, Felix and Marcello begin open firing on the Angels, with pin-point accuracy taking out many of the Angels crew, Angel simply waits and observes seeing the chaos, silently and without flinching. Suddenly a rush of police cars come up and Captain phillips and his crew come out opening fire on both the Angels and the BlackMills. Savage and McCarthy appear, shouting to captain phillips that they're hear to help. Captain phillips berrates McCarthy for helping Savage, but as they all realize they're heavily outnumbered by the Angels, he submits and allows them to help. Savage begins firing as McCarthy set up fireballs. Angel is surprised by the police presence, knowing that the McCarthy doesn't work for the governance, he is also surprised that governance brought so few men. He comes to the conclusion that he is being duped, and he suspects who is doing it. Phillips shouts out to Angel where his son, Angel, nervous about the new police presence uses this to his advantage. He claims that he was going to give his son to him, but blackmill showed up and killed both Aiden and Branson. Believing this, in a fit of rage Phillips casts a fireball (in the character bios it does explain he uses gems to cast magi) in the direction of Felix. McCarthy fires a series of fireballs in rage, blowing up most of the five story building and taking out a good portion of Angels forces. Felix, unable to escape accepts his face when Luid jumps in the way of the fireball, a massive explosion engulfs them both and we're left wondering who survived.

The scene cuts to Branson again, tied up, Marcus once again comes to the two guards and tells them to leave, the two guards claim they know what Marcus does with branson and they think it's sick. To which Marcus tells them to **censor** off, and they reluctantly leave. Marcus enters the room to have his way with Branson once more, but when he unties branson branson grabs a flammable liquid and throws it on Macrus's face. Before Marcus can realize what's going on branson casts a small fire-spark and this causes Marcus's face to catch on fire. As Marcus burns to death, Branson watches, noting that the tragedy's have shaped him from a frightened, bombastic boy to a killer. He grabs the keys from Marcus's body and escapes the garage, running to places unknown.

Back at Simple Point, everything is a flame. McCarthy watches on in horror as he realizes what he did, he sees men burn to death screaming in pain, McCarthy seems scarred, realizing he has become a monster. Phillips draws his attention to Angel, realizing that most of the police have been killed, Phillips fires at Angels crews, narrowly missing Angel, Angel fires a single bullet near Phillips and hits him straight in the neck. Suddenly, another bullet whisses from the inferno, where a badly burned felix stands up, angry. Claiming that Phillips and Angel killed Luid, his one and only friends, Felix shoots and Kills Phillips, and begins firing on many of the police crew, killing a lot. Lisa hides in fear, seeing Phillip's death. Felix then exclaims to angel that he is coming for him next, and reveals that Angel is actually his bastard father. Felix fires on Angel and hits him in the chest, Angel however does not even react to this and fires on Felix, hitting him in the arm. Savage, seeing McCarthy in his shocked state, teleports McCarthy out of the chaos.

Felix limps up the stairs of the five story building, whilst it is in flame. Most of the Angel crew that came to the assault have fled or are dead, the only ones remaining are Felix and Angel. Felix beings to hunt Angel down, a corridor showdown commences, Felix gets shot a few times by Angel and Angel gets shot a few times by Felix, none of these shots are fatal. Finally Angel begins walking down a corridor to the roof as Felix creeps behind him, Angel points his gun to deliver the final bullet to Felix, but as he fires his gun jams. Felix then unloads a torrent of bullets on Angel, hitting him with every bullet, until he runs out of ammo. Angel, amazingly, is still alive, but he drops his gun and is covered in bullet holes and blood, Angel creeps outside where it is raining, and lands in a heap next to a wall on the roof. Felix picks up angels jammed gun, and unjams it. As he is preparing to finish Angel off he is suddenly shot in the back... by Chelsea, who was still on the roof.

Felix has an inner monologue about the meaning of his life and that he believes it his time to die, as Chelsea walks up to Felix and delivers the final shot. Angel, extremely injured but not showing any signs of pain, tells Chelsea he already knows what happens next. Chelsea smirks, and points the gun at Angel, claiming this was all his plan to take over the Angels drug deal and revolt them against the governance. Angel smiles, and claims Chelsea is a fool, that he will never stand a chance and he is doomed to fail. Chelsea smiles, and he says to Angel "Chelsea?... Please, call me Angel", a gunshoot is heard and the screen goes black. Thus finishing off Act 2.

The story is so vivid in my head, the only thing holding me back is my lack of artistic abilities. Thus I've decided to write a transcript, and maybe draw a bad storyboard. Here is the beginning of the transcript.

Act 1: Scene 1: The Smirking Cat

*Panel opens up to display a club setting, this club setting is made of high-contrast low-shaded colours
The background should be a pattern of criss-crossing colours of pinks, blues and yellows, each colour overlaps but in itself contains little shading.
Inside the colour is a bunch of sillohete anthropormophic animals mid dance, no detail is shown just their shape.

Second panel indicates a side shot of a cat, the shot only shows the cats head, neck and shoulders. The cat is sleek, and looks young, his fur is entirely black but white details can be seen on him such as his whiskers and facial features. His eyes are fully coloured and shaded, the only thing in the scene to be so. The colours are toned down, the cat appears to be staring into the distance.

Third panel indicates a more angled shot of the cat, it is now a shot of the cat front facing but it seems he has noticed something to the left of him. It is revealed the cat is in a casual but expensive looking suit.

Fourth panel reveals what he has noticed, a nice vixen, who is drinking at the bar, who has been looking at the cat, perhaps the whole time. The vixen is more detailed than the rest of the scene, she has red fur with a white belly is slender, stands at a respectful stance, suggestive but not overtly so.

The fifth and sixth panel happen at concurrent points of time. The fifth panel is a close up of the cats face, a sly smirk, he is going to pick up that girl tonight and he knows it, he is confident and has his eyes on his prey. In the sixth panel, he is reaching into his pocket to grab some cash, seems like a lot of it, this cat is clearly some sort of rich business man.

The sixth panel, probably the start of the second page, shows the exterior of the club the cat was at, simply an exterior shot, perhaps from the footpath above the club. The club itself is filled with colour, but the surrounding streets are very dark, filled with blacks and greys.

The next panel shows the cat walking on the street out of the club with the vixen, the cat is smirking and smoking a cigarette. The cat is smirking, but is slightly more detailed than he was in the club, you can see his suit vividly and his fur has a little bit of light shading in it, the vixen is as detailed as ever. They both seem happy. The perspective should be side on, as if viewing from the other side of the street they’re walking on. On the street should be a nice looking car.

The next panels should try to emphasis the mood, a rich cat picking up a hot chick, he is suave, a shot of them holding hands tightly, and a shot of the cat, his smirk ever so sly and wide.

To break the tension and to act as a cliffhanger for a page, a shot of the other side of the street, the cat and vixen in the foreground with a dark hooden figure in the background. Across the street are basic buildings, the style has gone very high contrast in the background, the hooded figure is in an alleyway that is entirely black, only the lit parts of the hooded figure can be seen and these are entirely white. The hooded figure is small and not detailed, this is simply an establishing shot for the next shot.

The next shot acts as a zoomed in view of the hooded figure, he has no outline, you can simply see a high contrast between whites and blacks and possibly greys. His eyes are white and are glowing with a sort of fire, they are unnaturally white, no pupil or iris, but instead where his eyes are seem to be a white fire. One of his hand simply in his coats pocket and the other arm resting beside him, in a strange magical pattern.

The next page shows a side on shot of the hooded figure, more detailed this time but still retaining the high contrast. You can see his face more clearly his eyes focused on the road ahead.

Suddenly a close shot of his hand is seen as it moves up from resting beside him to up to his head.

The next shot indicates him clicking his hand a small spark of red fire sparking from his fingertips. The red fire should give off a glow, and anything caught in that glow should be fully textured and coloured, without the high contrast seen in the previous scenes.

The next shot shows a birds eye figure of the hooded view in the alleyway, as well as half of the rood. The hooded figure stands straight and calm as a massive torrent of fire erupts forward. It looks as if the torrent of fire didn’t come directly from his hand movements, but that instead the previous spark lit off some kind of gas in the air or something. The torrent of fire also behaves uniquely, it starts from a small point and then expands outwards like a flashlight or laserbeam, but at an interval it shrinks again with an audible POP only to continue the process (the POP is signified by letters) it does this at regular intervals throughout the scene and proceeding scenes. The entire area that is illuminated by the fire is well coloured and shaded, the areas far away from the fire remain in their high contrast and little detail form.

Next shot is taken from the perspective of someone standing next to the cat and the vixen on the other side of the street. The torrent of fire hits a car which explodes, creating a large boom sound and causing both the fox and vixen to be fluing back at incredible velocity.

The next is a close up of the cat, his eyes closed and he is clearly hurt, the surroundings of the scene are red and orange as if engulfed by furious fire, however the cats head still remains black, however his head is detailed with whites and greys.

The next scene proceeds this shot directly in time as it has the cat open his eyes, his mouth not smirking but grimmacing in pain, he looks to the other side of the street where the hooded figure would be.

The next panel is from his perspective, you can see fire everywhere, but a gap in the smoke and the flame reveals the other side of the street with the alleyway the hooded figure is standing in, only the hooded figure is not there and it is instead an empty alleyway.

The next panel is smaller and is in the corner of a much larger panel. The smaller panel is front of view of the cats face, no detail in his face can be seen, no shading, his face is entirely black. The only thing that is seen is his eyes, green and highly detailed, they indicate confusion, disbelief and sorrow, not pain or suffering. The background is once again filled with bright reds and oranges

The larger panel is the same thing but zoomed out. The entire body of the cat is revealed, but once again it is only a silloutte, no detail or shading, just a black shape. It is revealed he is sitting against a wall and his body is extremely mangled, he is missing limbs and most of the lower half of his body is missing. The background is a massive flame, bright oranges, yellows and reds. Yet the only thing in the entire scene that has clear detail is the cats eyes, still confused, as if not accepting the fact that he is going to die.

The next page is simply a title.
