How about a research-type class where we learn to use multiple sources and find objective info on things like current events and history instead of just learning the quantitative (yet biased) facts listed in a textbook?

Anywho, a Self Defense class since I know for a fact most of the kids at my school don't know how to defend themselves if there is ever some stranger trying to kidnap, rape, hurt you. How to get duct tape, or rope off. how to get help when something like that happens. Ect.
