War is inevitable so long as we are human. There is a human need to be superior than others. It started with hand-to-hand, then sticks, then spears, then bows and arrows, and eventually worked it's way up to were we are now. And since the United States has the largest military, we've been called on to be the "big stick" of the world and "Peace". I like to think that politicians have our best interests at heart, and are advocating for peace, but if something pisses them off we go to war. It's just human. I don't want to join the USAF to fight in a war, I want to fly for my country. If I need to go to war, so be it for whatever reason.

Well, thats my opinion

Something comes to mind of the Medic being an objector to war but being forced to fight due to a dire situation.
