The best use I've seen propane used for is this crazy Canadian redneck guy that has a lot of land up in Canada, and he took a full tank like the ones for bbq grills, and used it as a flamethrower against nests of wasps and bees.  Dangerous if that tank explodes, but very affective at incinerating everything XD
