How is Ensiferum supposed to be pronounced? Is the emphasis supposed to be on the I or the second E? Or even maybe the first e?

All I know is that it's supposedly Latin, and translating to "one who bears swords/iron/ iron/swordbearer / something to that effect"
A friend of mine put the emphasis on the second E, like "Ensifeeerum".
And on the radio, they're often announced as "Ennnsiferum", and that's kinda how I tend to be guilty of pronouncing it as well, tho I'm pretty sure this is not the right way.
No idea how it's really supposed to be tho.

Post Merge: June 26, 2017, 05:36:10 PMI'm writing this after I've just woken up so please forgive any typos. I've been having really weird dreams. These are the only dreams that I ever remember even semi-clearly and they're kind of like episodic dreams. Last time I remember having a dream that was part of this "story-line" was a couple of weeks ago. It ended with me taking some kind of test and the ending up in some kind of hotel looking around a gift shop.

This dream started in a place that looked nothing like that hotel, but for some reason I recognized it as that hotel because of the gift shop in the lobby. Anyway, I was there and somehow I met a dwarf that was trying to get into someone's mansion. I don't remember what his motivation was. Anyway, he lead me to some path to a castle- like structure and took me right up to the front gate basically, then we split up.

When I went into the mansion, I told them I was looking for someone and I think I was looking for them specifically to get some money to fund something that I was trying to do. Then I went into the mansion and made it all the way to the main room before being caught by anyone ot their trap that they supposedly set up around the place. When I mentioned the dwarf man, they became very friendly and said that he was an old friend. I also asked them why he didn't some alone and they said something like "He's 139 years old and it's getting harder for him to get past the traps." I don't know why I remember that specific line so vividly, but from here on out my memory gets clearer. They tell me about one of their family members who aged to a full grown human in just one year after being born and has not aged since then. They tell me how they throw a lavish birthday party every day for him in the hopes that one day he will start aging again. I also specifically remember me wishing him happy birthday and him replying "If I ever have one." Then I was invited to the party and had fun with the entire family.

After the party, the father of the family revealed a vehicle he had made because in normal human years, this would have been his sons 16th birthday. From what I remember the vehicle was a motorcycle with two big trailers attached to it.. The father, the son, and I get into the vehicle (I don't know why they invited me on) and we set off. at first it was a normal drive, but the person driving kept speeding up. The drive ended with the vehicle going fast enough to lift off the ground and killing some people. After that, I got to see a dark side to their family.

The father and son gathered up all of the bodies of the people they killed and loaded them into the vehicle before any emergency services could get there. They got back in and drove us to a building that said something like "AVAST arm services" (Now that I think about it, this is my brain making a nod to a mobile security app that I hate) which was a play on words that I liked. Anyway, he went in and talked to the people for a while before coming back out and pulling the vehicle around the back of the building where he hauled them in one by one.

After that, I remember a bunch of the "birthday" parties playing out really fast. Some of them were bigger because they were actual birhtdays of other family members. Another thing I remember seeing that was weird is that he had pre-built birthday party boxes that contained everything from tables and food to presents and activities, but none of the other days ever ended with people dying.

When my dream finally returned to normal speed, I was in a normal car with the father of the family. Then, he wrecked into a telephone pole. We both got out to assess the damage, but for some reason he collapsed in the road. He was still conscious, he just couldn't stand back up. Anyway, while he was laying there he began to insult me. I don't know why it made me so angry, but I ended up punching him in the face before walking away. While I was Walking away, he was run over because his black suit blended into the road and they couldn't see him. People tried to stop me from walking away and I remember just saying "he deserved it" and continuing on.

Then I walked into some place that said arm food (or something in that vein) on the door and was disgusted to find that there were real human arms hangning off the walls. I asked the teller why and he said that it was never meant to become that kind of business. He just wanted to open somewhere he could sell food and arms were his only option at the time. That's where my memory of my dream ends, with me standing in a store that is selling actual human arms as food.

Does this dream have any meaning? Why are my dreams connecting together like this? I don't like it. These dreams also always make reference to a ift shop really early on, so I know when they're going to get weird. Does anyone else have these kinds of episodic dreams?

I've had connecting dreams before!
 It may have to do with certain things in your life. For example--many drowning dreams can be connected to feeling overwhelmed. I have no idea with yours though, I'm no dream-doctor or anything... Lol, pay attention to the gift shops in your life

Damn gift shops. I knew it. The weird thing is that the gift shops are never the important part. It's kind of like they're just there to let me know the dream is part of that set (if that makes sense).

It does. Lol, I've stopped having these but I had some odd dreams, with this crazy-looking deer in them. It'd change small bits of its appearence often. I'd see it then it'd run off, I'd try to find it, and never did. Met many weird people. Though, never had any arm-shops. But hey, just pay attention to em. Maybe there's some meaning. But can't help you much.
