Sanders put his paws up. "Now now, it's fine. A misfire isn't your fault. But, there's a custom to this town." The bear reached into his pocket, and pulled out a badge. "Yer the new sherrif."

[Dr.Vice Jameson]

Yes, well, that's lovely, but i'm afraid i'm not exactly qualified.

[Rayleonarde]

Sanders chuckled. "A shame, 'cause you're in it now. We can't elect a sherrif, 'cause the upstarts'll shoot 'im. Gotta be a cold blooded killer, and the way it looks? You fit the bill." He stepped forward, and began to pin the badge on Vice's lapel. "Y'can deputize someone later, 'kay?"

[Dr.Vice Jameson]

Alright, I see, i'll be your sheriff. But I'd like it if someone could train me to, maybe, know what the hell i'm doing.

[Rayleonarde]

Sanders smiled. "Alright, training begins. Keep an eye on the town, and shoot the bad guys. Training over." He patted Vice's shoulder, and walked away.

[Dr.Vice Jameson]

*he stared blankly* alright, I've got two options: stay here and get my ass handed to me, or shift of to god knows where and probably get my ass handed to me.

Sanders shouted over his shoulder. "You'll pick up on it!" He chuckled, as he stepped into his shop.

"I could teach you, but you're not gonna like it," a voice said behind Vice. The voice was quiet, but definitely female.

[Dr.Vice Jameson]

*he turns around* thank you ma'am, thank you, for being the one person in this town not to screw me over.

Before Vice was a female raccoon, purple as you'd like. She was a shapely figure, obscured only by a crimson leather duster. She smiled, and offered Vice her paw. "Well, come with me. And we'll learn ya how to shoot." She winked, smiling.

*he follows* alright

A shot rang out, and the raccoon bolted, dropping Vice's paw. She ran to a nearby horse, and rode into the distance.

The shooter, Sanders, walked up to Vice. "You're not very intelligent, are ya son?"

[Dr.Vice Jameson]

I'm just new here. Who was that?

[Rayleonarde]

Sanders whistled qiuetly. "Boy howdy, you ain't smart. That was Valentine Blackburn. One of the four meanest muties out there." He sighed. "The Blackburns know the sherrif's gone, and a wet-eared kid's protecting this town." Sanders sighed, and rubbed his head. "Shoot..."
