Forum goes down from time-to-time usually due to DDoS attacks, due to the forums very good protection though it goes back up within a few minutes.

If the forum is down wait an hour or so and it should be back up, nothing to worry about

Are there any usual suspects for the DDoS attacks? How much action does it take on the administrators' part to fix the issue?

Happens and I use to worry way to much thinking something happened. It's fine sometime it takes a few sometime an hour or two
