Angder used a similar logic for his hunts, he usually only attacks ones who have already caused trouble, though that usually means he is too late to save the first few victims...

Ciara nodded to her partners and they walked off with the demon. She then took the blade from Geoff.

"Um... so..." Geoff muttered.

Ciara smiled. "Everything's all taken care of. I'm surprised there was another demon involved. Good thing that was an easy fight."

"And Trig--uh, the chimera?"

"Just a normal chimera now. Thankfully healthy--er, aside from some head trauma at the moment. Should be a decent pet, if you want to still take care of him."
