Electricity is the closest thing to magic we have if you think about it. You can make things hot or cold, move faster, even fly.

A little bit of both. They're slowly burned up from the inside when in use, but they slowly restore themselves. You can use other elemental cubes, your own elemental abilities or even the environment to restore them faster. Or, if the channeling is very weak, they'll burn up just as fast as they generate. Use enough ice elemental cubes, and an ice castle could technically survive standing in a desert forever.

Yeah, that's why I said with enough of them. But you are going to need more than almost all people on my world would deem reasonable.

Of course you do have to check the castle doesn't collapse under it's own weight as well, which is why I also said "technically"...

I know it is, but it's still a potential problem. An yeah, building one where it already is cold makes more sense. Like the ice hotel they build each year!
