I am eternally grateful that a friend of mine has been kind enough to drag me along for all the conventions we've both gone to.

And by the time I finally got there, the hotel would be all "Oh, we remember that! They moved to a bigger hotel somewhere else X years ago."
And then it'd be back to square one with trying to find my way back home >->'

Technically I'm grown up and moved out (as are my siblings), but she still helps out by paying our phone bills.
And technically she's also not a dragon (more of a koala according to herself, altho that's more of a joke), but if she gets angry she's pretty much a dragon.
Hence, mama-dragon!


And knowing her right, if I were to use mobile internet abroad, she'd get pretty angry once the bills arrived >->'

You should get a prepaid card that has internet.
Here there are dozens of different providers that just give you 5 gigs of internet for starters.

I simply use prepaid. I don't do enough with my phone for high bills.

My current plan caps my bill at 35€/month in what comes to text/call costs, but it allows for unlimited surfing.
People call me a lot more often than I tend to call them tho, and I don't really text all that much either, so I've never actually hit that limit.


In fact, mom used to joke that my phone bills were the worst and that I really should stop abusing my phone so much.
35 cents! That's outrageous!


I have been thinking of getting a prepaid card tho, to keep as backup.
