Either way I heard about a story of the USA of a court case against the company Red Bull.

About that. The court case was that someone brought Red Bull for court because they didn't get real wings. Of course most people here would know this is because it's an ad - it doesn't give you real wings. Anyhow, the court agreed with the person who blamed Red Bull for not getting wings. Everyone who bought Red Bull in the USA could claim a small amount of money. Either it was really dumb that people believed they could actually get wings, or they were smart enough to make use of a dumb rule and/or court system.

Well, we are planning to move to Canada... After... years...

I think the person who sued red bull was dumb. I don't think they'd otherwise even think that would work. I'd think it won't work.

Well, the USA had more idiot cases like that in the past from what I heard. I once heard that someone sued a company because he fell while trying to use a CD storage tower as a ladder. He won because the manual didn't explicitly say you shouldn't try using it as a ladder. I've learned 2 things from that.

And I heard about Starbucks being sued because a women spilt coffee on her lap whilst she was driving. She won, and since then there's the text "! warning: hot content !" printed on the cups. I learned the same 2 things again.

1: The USA court system and/or law apparently is pretty stupid. The company is at fault if the customer is being dumb.
2: The USA inhabitants are less intelligent on average compared to the EU. Why else would they need to do this in the first place?

Anyway, if you're smart enough you can tell now you can abuse the first point.

And yea... US law is terrible. Like the healthcare. And basically everything else.
