Nucleon - I've never used that magic type, I have no advice
what I can say though is that you will only have a very limited mana pool meaning that you won't be able to do too many casts before your staff will need to recharge

the gemstone will recharge its mana in about 30 minutes to an hour depending on how much you used it

*walks over to the top of the stairs*

*Crest nods* OK. *First of all he just does some basic bo staff actions with no magic then he tries what his enchanted part of the staff* Alright lets go! * He some what shouts as a brown aura comes out of the staff and earth raises from the ground as he launches it from side to side doing the same actions with the bo staff as before* That was awesome magic is fun.
