Relearning to draw: The tuft, ruff, and mane
« on: March 12, 2015, 05:28:43 PM »
These seem to be really hard to capture and keep consistent while making the original reference and turn around.
Hardest part (For me) is that I don't have a dedicated drawing area or a way to make sure my reference lines stay parallel.
Without the reference lines I can't get the right points in the free hand drawing, and the character comes out uneven and strange.

Where is a good reference for how to free hand a quick character reference so I can at least work on some character concepts?
I am Thagarhn, nothing more, nothing less.
