Broken Fourth Wall

"Oh cool! So you are pretty prepared for outings and integrsting with... well, society in some ways. Totally did not figure that you would need to be that prepared. AH, One Mandarin Salad with Sweet Peppers, please!"


He laid his menu down and enjoyed the scenery.

Che didn't reply. She just stared at Tim, knowing that users never understood her at the start. Then her gaze fixed to the wolf entering.


Hor'kuu's eyes glistened as he spoke up: "It would be clear, Ray and Rio, that both of you hold magic powers. But you'll have to be careful with it. I've seen it enough... Leviathans that can't control themselves. It causes chaos, weakly expressed."

Shazza looked at Michen with a laughing expression.
"What, no.. The user. He is running out of characters. Hahaha. You remember our buddy Cifero? Yeah, dealing with that at the moment. So many interactions at once. He is a little grateful but man, he now understands how Cifero felt a while back."

Marc on the other hand was sitting at a table not too far from the wolf. Tim and Che could see him too if they looked. Ti was preoccupied with his salad though.

The user who created the wolf began to feel a bit awkward. He had very little experience with role playing, so he didn't quite know where to start.

The wolf looked around the restaurant to see what the other customers were up to. Most of them were enjoying their meals, but a few other customers were chatting.

Marc approached the Wolf, offering to buy his food.
"Hey, sorry to bother you... but it looked like you were having trouble with your car earlier. Mind if I pay for your lunch? .. so you dont have to worry about money for your car."

The wolf looked up from his menu to see Marc standing there.

"Oh, hi!" He was surprised to be presented with such a generous offer. "Wow, that's... really nice of you. Are you sure?"

The wolf extended his paw. "My name's Vin. What's yours?"

"Ernahgersh Lia!" Foxi ran up and essentially glomped Lia, but seriously, who glomps anymore? Her, apparently.

Meanwhile, Katsuro was around doing stuff somewhere in the thread.

Ray straightened up slowly. "Well...well well well." He stretched his arms into the sky, passed his stoney paw through a cloud, and rested his arms. "What kinds of magic?" Ray looked at Rio, still smiling.

Michen nodded. "Yeah, I feel ya. Well, I wanted to make a few additional characters later, too... Mostly for roleplaying and art purposes. You'll probably see a few later."

Marc replied solemnly. "Yeah sure, why not. Its the most I cnan do at the moment. Name's Marc."
He shook Vin's hand firmly.




Lia giggled and hugged bacl, feeling big, gummy, and super super squishy. "Foxxxiiiiiii."

Rio turned around and demonstrated for Ray. Her thorax had a clear crystal in it, very large, and it glows different colors depending on the type of magic and how its used.
"I really just do enchantments, spells, and minor conjurings."

Che popped an ear up and muttered to herself: "Vin, huh. Not a name I'd choose, but that's me." She looked back at Tim, who seemed to ignore anything except from his food.


Hor'kuu answered Ray without waiting for him to ask: "I don't do magic. Unless, of course, you see elemental breath as so. We do blessings and rituals, though, but that's more of a religion.

"Well, thank you, Marc. It's always nice to meet people-- er, animals like you."

Vin decided to go with a normal salad.

"I was on my way to the airport for a trip at a ski resort. I knew something was wrong with my car, but I decided I'd take care of it after my trip. That turned out well, huh?" Vin laughed with a little sadness in his voice.

Tim looked up and noticed a few other faces. He thought abput what he could be missing as he wasnt quite satisfied from the salad. "A parfait? Ew... not really my style.. ah.. pies." Tim bought 5 small apple pies.
He looked at che for a moment. "Would you like one?"




Marc just chuffed gently and paid for the salad. "Sure thing. I could check the car, to see what is wrong with it. Mayb lead you to a mechanic nearby so you can get there?"

Michen poked Shazza. Clearly Tim was using too many characters in this thread right now.

Shazza looked at michen. "Yeh? Oh yeah about what ya said. Thats coo. It'd be noice seein ya otha charactuhs aroun an such, yea?"

"Nah, it's fine," Vin answered. "I was running late getting to the airport in the first place."

Vin looked back outside at his car. "I mean, I could probably fix it myself. I always have a toolbox in my trunk. I guess I'm what you would call a 'gearhead.'"

Vin looked back at Marc. "Don't worry, it's fine. I guess I'll stay around here for now-- seems like a friendly place."

"What else is there to do around here? Maybe a hiking trail?"
