Magnolia forced her eyes open to look up at Ray with red eyes. "R-Rayleonarde?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray felt his legs stiffen at the fifth ring. "I...I must go." He kissed her one last time, before he left after the sixth ring.


At the hospital, Ray appeared in the hall. He blinked, and shook his head.

After a while, Magnolia picked herself up off the couch and rubbed her burning eyes. She went into her room, closing and locking the door behind her as she wept.

Acon walked out of Mag's room to head for the bathroom. When she saw Ray, her face lit up and she hugged him tight. "Thank god you're back!"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray smiled, and hugged her back. "It's good to be back." He kissed her forehead. "What'd I miss?"

[Aconitum]

Acon shrugged. "Not much. Uh... the old Ray wanted to talk to you about something."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "Yep, we discussed it. He wants a schedule. Are...Are you okay with that?"

[Aconitum]

Acon smiled up at Ray and gave him a single nod. "Yeah, I'm fine with it."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed. "Every other day? I proposed that. He wanted every other month."

[Aconitum]

Acon thought about it for a moment. "Uh... I-I don't know. I mean, whatever works for the two of you."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shrugged. "Every other day would be more frequent, but every month...I like that more."

[Aconitum]

Acon shrugged, a bit torn. She wanted to see the one man that acted as her father more frequently, but at the same time, she didn't want to be without Ray for an entire month. "Whatever works for you." She smiled awkwardly.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "Each month it is."

[Aconitum]

Acon cringed slightly, but quickly turned it into a tight lipped smile. "Yay."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray smiled. "Don't be like that. He wanted a month to stay with you and Magnolia, and wanted to give me a month to be with you. 'To be your support', as he said."
