[Aconitum]

Acon choked back another sob as she removed the locket from around Ronnie's neck.

Juka smiled up at her father and her ears perked. "Wanna meet Ronald? Er, mommy calls him baby Ronnie."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked. "I'd...I'd like to see Con, if she's around."

[Aconitum]

"I just took her too her little friend's birthday party." The nanny spoke up.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked. "M-Maybe I'll pay her a visit?" He shrugged. "I don't know."


Ronnie's ghost, or what-have-you, appeared in front of Acon. "Indecisive of this, A?"

[Aconitum]

Acon covered her face wept.

The nanny scrunched up her nose. "Perhaps you'd like to shower first?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked, and nodded. "Might be a good idea. I don't have clothes, though."

[Aconitum]

Juka stood. "Mommy kept a lot of your clothes." The baby in the nanny's arms started crying again.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray stood, and took Juka's paw. "Can you show me where they are?"


Ronnie knelt beside Acon, and smiled. "Hey hey, I'll be back...maybe. You got your city back, A. I didn't want to put you through that, but I wanted to see if you'd do it."

[Aconitum]

Juka nodded and led Ray into the house. She took him upstairs, into Acon and Mag's room. "She keeps them in the closet."

Acon looked Ronnie. "Ronnie, who are you talking to? I am Acon Lovien. I takes what I wants."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray smiled, and picked his formal, white suit, and sighed. "Back to the basics." He sighed, and walked into the bathroom.


Ronnie smiled. "I was just curious if there was bite behind that bark."

[Aconitum]

Acon scowled. "There's almost always bite behind my bark!"

While Ray was in the bathroom, the nanny slipped in Acon's room and put the baby in its crib before she slipped out again.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray stepped out of the bathroom, feeling better than ever. He spotted the babe in the crib, and sighed. Ray stepped up to the cribside, and leaned against it. "So, you're the new guy, huh? Hey little buddy, I know you haven't ever seen me, but...I'm daddy." He smiled, and watched the baby. "Ronald...little baby Ronnie." Ray sighed.


Ronnie laughed. "Almost always isn't always."

[Aconitum]

The baby smiled up at Ray and kicked his little feet.

Acon smiled tightly and closed her eyes.

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie patted Acon's shoulder. "Just keep that pendant with you, I'll be around." He walked off, and faded away.


Ray chuckled, and held out a finger to the babe.

[Aconitum]

Acon stood and made her way to the estate.

The baby reached up a chubby paw and grabbed Ray's finger, gurgling happily.
