Uuuuaagh... What is going on here? Upon walking inside, Jacobs is showered with some flower type plants and bright colorful lights with loud festival music. Dd... Wow, this is mamazing!
"Glad ytou could join us mysterious stranger!" A random person greeted Jacobs with a warm smile and a bunch of cookies.
Oh, well at lest theres food. I guess I should find the table so i can eat something. *stomach grumbles*
"If food is what you seek, the table is over there on the second, right after the 3rd, on the 2nd floor by the first map."
Highly confused as he didnt understand what just happened, Jacobs actually just stood there in shock.
Uh what??
"You must go that way! Food is on the second floor after the... you clearly aren't understanding this. Here, follow me."
Ok, now that makes sense! Jacobs exclaimed.
"It is our purpose to service those who arree... mmm, less capable."
In slight offense he quietly outbursted with a quick response, And what's that supposed to mean?!
"You simply couldn't handle the directions I gave you. Don't worry, alot of peole get lost. So I guide them to the table."
Oh, I can handle them! See?! *walking off past the man with barely any memory of how to get there he sees the table and charges forward* FOOOOOD!!! *smack!* Ow, what the?
"Congratulations.. you found the table! now how do you get to it?"
What do you mean?! It's just a.... window... *stomach grumbles* please just guide me to the food.
"As you wish. Follow me" .. So, how often do you guys get visitors? I'd think not so much since this planet is like, all desert.
"Loooks can be deceiving. Herre we are, just walk through and take a seat."
Ohhh, THANK YOU!!! *Jacobs takes a seat by the soup and bread first*
"And we get alot of visitors actually. But they all leave before nightfall."
So, what.. am I lke the first? Jacobs said with a stuffed mouth.
"No, just one of many few we have here in the town."
*Slurping down the souped salad and swallowing hot, souped brread whole, jacobs fills up quickly, to only realize he'll soon end up staying another night* Crap.. I might have to stay another day. Im just gonna eat what I need.
*Jafcobs, as hungry as he was. he was also very strict and stubborn about his objectives*
Alright old timer. I thank you for letting me eat here but I really do have to go soon. Was just deliviering something and I needed a quick stop afterwards.
"So you crashed here? How odd, interesting actually."
Hey, I had business.. and business got rough, so I needed to cool off.
"Here? of all places. You are a peculiar one indeed."
What are you trying to get at?! I simply needed somewhere to stay!!
"But you complained about being here. SO you didn't have business, you were stranded here after you landed. The ship's avionics weren't working well. You were frustrated and decided to go fix your problems elsewhere."
How did you know all of that? Jacobs was more shocked than mad at the pestering questions man. Even though he seemed to contradict hisself, he made all the sense in the world when he told Jacobs how he ended up on planet Devira.
This is really freaky, how do you know everythig thaat happened to me today?
"I watch over this town and I am the spirit of the planet." The old man smiled and looked towards Jacobs
Wait, so youre a spirit? PFF Hahahaha!! Yeah Right!! Hahahahaha... That's.. that was a good one old timer. You have an interesting sense of humour. Im gonna go and start up my arwing now. Jacobs got up out the seat and attempted to leave to only be stoppped by another invisible wall.

Jacobs frustrated, tried running and slammed into an invisible wall. WHAT IN THE HELL!!?!?!!
Old man, if you're doing something.. stop it right now!!! "Stop what? Im only standing here. What you see is merely an illusion. There is no festival, there is no old man. This town is guarded by the spirit of the planet Devira. In fact, my name is Davyra, the Guardian Moon. Devira is sleeping. You are speaking to the Guardian of the Moon. If you truly wish to leave. Then do so. Im not stopping you. You are stopping yourself."
I don't undersdtna dany of this!! What are you jabbering about?! You're stsanding right here talking to me!! I can see you and touch you! YOU ARE REAL!!! There is no spirit!! You're crazy!!! Now take down whatever plexiglass wall you got me behind, cause I want to leave now! "As.. you.. wish."
Suddenly, the room grew dark and the festival started to fade away. The food was still there, but it was rotting really fast. Meteors began falling through the atmosphere and fire burned across the dark blue deserted planet. Flames slowly burned lowly but brightly as everything around them turned to ash and was blown away by the winds guiding the flames. Were in the heck am I??
"You said you wanted to leave. Do you know where we are?"
This is... Devira? Jacobs, scared and shocked at the burning empty lands, he almost wondered where everything was.
"No. This is your home. The planet that YOU live on. Davyra, is long gone. But the planet still remains a hope for life and refugees everywhere."
What? My home? Refugees? What happened? Where is everything, why are there no people?!
"You're looking at them. All these flames and ashes. These destroyed buildings and empty deserted lands. This is what your home will become soon. Sad isn't it?" All of the Green Flames slid across the barren lands in search of something to burn. Just then two Dark green beings, covered in flames, walked up to each other and just exploded into a giant cyclone of fire and walked across the land smoldering anything in its path.
"Theres no frickin way.. that this is my planet... No way. no... Please, take me away from here!"
"Wait. someones coming." Jacobs looked around but saw no one.. that is until he heard gunshots and bikes.
"Keep driving! faster! faster! It's going to kill us!" Two humans driving motorcycles were speeding away as fast as they could from a flaming green tiger being chasing them. The flames roared loudly and flashed brightly.
"We're almost there! Just s few more seconds!!!" Just then another green flame being jumped out of the ground and splashed over both the drivers. "AAAAGGH... YAAAAAA, AAAAAGH.. HEEELP... HEEEEEAAAAAAGH.... AHGHAGHAGHAAAAGH"
The horrid screams petrified Jacobs to the core. Both motorcyles crashed and burned.
Jacobs watched as the two men were burned into ash by the green flames. All they had to do was get into the silver water. But a crack in the ground provided room for the flames to grow underground. Horrified, Jacobs begged and pleaded for the old man to remove the spell he was under.
Please, pleeaase!!! I dont want to watch anymore!! Let me go please!
"Do you know why I showed you this?" No, and I dont care.. please just take me away from here.
"As you wish." The alternate world disappeared and the festical was back, but it was quiet. Felt safe, but it ws quiet, there were people walking about and doing their own acticities and such but it was quiet.
"I wanted to show you what happens when, nature and technology collide. No good ever happens. The selfishness of your personality will assist in your downfall to your peoblems. Appreciate certani events and life will reward you. Bitch ad moan however, and you get doused with flames."
But some people have to live that way! "And they wouldnt have to f people just slowed down and fixed their problems without greed and anger. To get mad over such unimpportant things is pety and selfish, it leads to greed and corruption. To be biased in life is to see only half your relfection. See things differently and you can live happily."
Ok... i'll... i'll take that in to concern. "Now, you must be on your way. Here, this is a necklace made of the planets last roots of the spirit of Devira and Davyra. These hold wonderful charms, keep it safe and you shall be protected. But share its light and you shall be rewarded. Remember however, if greed comes upon you.. flames shall burn at the roots."
Thank you. I'll be on my way. Jacobs quietly walked out of the restaurant buffet with a new piece of mind and a traumatizing vision. Just beofre gettig into his arwing, he stopped by the repair guy he met earlier today and gave him some money. Hey! I uhh.. here, it's from me. Some money, since you don't get much service anymore.
"Oh, why thank you! Much appreciated! You have a nice night now!"
You too! Jacobs jumped into his Arwing AF-rXC and started it up, he looked up and could see no old man anywhere, like he left as soon as he got out of the building. Jacobs looked down and saw a note in the door, he picked it up and read it.
"You are a fortunate and special person. Most people kill themselves after seeing that vision. It's sad but true, I have even witnessed it happen. Some of them have neverending nightmares and suffer from ultimate paranoia."
I just might suffer from the nightmares as well.. Jacobs folded the letter and onoticed it said Old Man on the back of it.
Haha, he sure has a wierd sense of humor. No, to get home and away from here. As jacobs was leaving.. the planet turned dark blue under the moonlight, but he knew he felt sometihng. A very small part of planet that was shadowed, had a bright dot in it. He felt a pit grow in his stomach as he thought about the Green Flaming Beings again.
Just... just get home... relax, there's nothing wrong... with Devira. The planet's fine... it's fine, you're fine... nothing wrong. Jacobs turned on his radio to calm hissefl down a bit and relax. He played a station that had smooth softening music, he liked it at the moment, but a few minutes later it slowly amped into something different. The music became tense, and slow.. eventually creeping out Jacobs. So he turned off the radio.
Look, im almost home. Jacob said, feeling better staring into his brightly lit, sunny, blue and yellow planet.. he broke into the atmosphere and flew down to the porting bay for aircraft. only to be frightened by the scariest thing he'll ever hear. His radio turned on and the army officials called him,
"This is restricted airspace, please identify yourself."
This is Warren Jacobs, Arwing Class AF-rXC, coming in to dock my Arwing,
"Okay, you're good. .....schkht" At first, Jacobs didnt know what that last sound was, he relayed back to the base.
Ummm, I didnt get that last part, over.
"We didnt say anything. You're good, over."
... What do you mean, you didn't say anything?
"We didn't, over. ......SCHCHCT" Just then, the sound Jacobs heard was as clear as day, it scared the crap out of him but he felt relieved after what he thought was just interefrence from other connections. Just before his arwing reached the docking bay, his radio turned on by itself and went back to that soft music station.. it was silent, and Jacobs became a little frightened, but he just turned off the radio. Again it cut on.. but this time there was faint static... and Jacobs began hearing something very creepy.. the music was playing at a very low volume, so Jacobs placed his ear against the radio to listen claerly. Just then a loud roar came from the radio and Jacobs recognized it like anything a 3 year old would call scary. The roar was just like the one he heard with the Tiger Flame Being chasing the bikers. Jacobs jumped out of his arwing and landed front first on the rubber flooring.
"AAAAAGH" where's the charm? wheres the charm? wheres the charm? wheres the charm?!?! Jacobs pulled the charm out of his pocket and put it around his neck. Almost like a nightmare cure, the charm worked and everything seemed a little brighter than a few seconds ago. Jacobs became worried of two things. The paranoia or those flames beings are already giving him nightmares. I just... gotta stay calm. I'll be fine. I'll be fine. Jacobs walked down the street from te base and bought a sweetened coffee, hot with a honey roll. Maybe a relaxing nap will help me. Jacobs walked into a spa and ordered a massage. ........ Later, jacobs is in mid massage and gets really sleepy. "Ahhhh, that works. Hey, if you dont mind. Im gonna nap for a bit. Wake me up when it's over. "Will do, sir" With that being said, Jacobs fell into a peaceful sleep.
