That's what I am doing. I priced everything out on newegg for what I want it should be around 1,300. the two most expensive pieces are the Asus Maximus VI motherboard and the i7-4770k processor. Both over 340. It'll be worth it though for the stuff im going to do with it.

mine is 5k but thats because i am adding 2 780 ti's and having the whole thing water cooled

That would do it! I have never done the water cooled rigs. for the two graphic cards do you plan on streaming? that's a lot of power!

yep i just need the cash for it i might do a few youtube vids around it i know first do bench tests so that you can tell if a part is dead whn it arrives and that list is always changing in terms of parts amounts
