I slowly walked towards the female that had just spoken the new of my newly adopted child, I just couldn't help but be curious about why she would think that I would agree with her tearing away the cute child. I just had to know, so I asked her, trying to find the reason... "Ma'am... I couldn't help but overhear you speaking Stars name, You know that I am planning on adopting him, ne?" I smiled gently, trying to make clear that I held no malice towards her or her mate, and that I just wanted to protect the cub that would soon be in my care... to protect him from the confusion that would ensue when to people where fighting over him.

I merely looked at the mother and cub, trying to see a logical pattern in their actions... but I found none, so I just sighed. "It matters not... he did not offend me.... and kiddo..." The feline turned to the cub that was in the female's arms. "I might be scary... but I would never hurt you, I promise, 'kay?"
