In-character adventure-ish rp? (anything goes!)

Mmkay, whoever all will be around to read this, I haven't rp'd with a group in basically... well... freakin *forever*.  Even longer so when on a forum.  Jeeze, it's been awhile... but anywho!  That be unimportant.  So who all wants to do an in-character roleplay?  Here are the grounds:


Wolves, nature, stuff like that.  I'll try to flesh out my character's canon in this rp too if I can, just to get ideas.  So here's the loose rundown: my fursona was an enforcer for a pack run by a female leader named Roxii.  He's a loner and has been wandering around the forest for several years trying to find a way back into his pack.


 Anyone can jump in, as long as there isn't too much of a clusterf'ck of characters, so I'll limit this to four people, myself included.  For now, anyways.


So, who wants to roleplay? *cue drumroll*


(Notes!  If we're going to do this the fancy way, third person is best, so if possible, please write this way!  Or if we'll do it the easy way, first person works too.  Either way is fine with me )

Sorry, this isn't in character, but that's because I have a very important question to ask. Do all characters have to be wolves (I don't think changing my species would be easy)?

Important questions are good!  And nope, not all the characters have to be wolves xP.   It's open to all species, no anthro characters though.  You could be a Platypus for all I care.  Probably not, but you get the point xD

“Lost, lost, definitely lost!” Sparks chanted cheerily, skipping alongside a long, winding river.
Numerous tree roots stuck up from the ground, warning to trip her. Occasionally, she would stumble, then giggle childishly when she found herself lying on the dirt. It was during one of these times that she subtly stiffened, before calling out, “Hi'ya!”

Ricin bolted out of his pack's territory as fast as he could, splashing through one of the main rivers so those following him couldn't track his scent.  He panted heavily, flopping down by the warming rock some of the feral cats used to mark their own territory.  As he laid down and rest his head on his paws, he glanced at what looked like a cat stumbling through the very edge of the treeline and heard a faint sound of a "Hello" called out to him.  Glancing in the cat's direction he answered in a slightly agitated growl,

"What do you want?"

Frowning at the tone, Sparks pouted. “I was jest sayin' hi.” she muttered, rising to her feet and dusting herself off. “What's got your panties in a bunch, then, eh?”
She grinned immaturely, and burst out laughing. “Panties!” repeated Sparks, in her odd little accent that didn't quite seem sure if it was Scottish or American. “I said panties!”
In her own mind it was hilarious, although she supposed it might not have been the funniest thing in the world. Recovering, she deliberated leaving her current spot,only to decide against it. One tiny little cat that simply wasn't as fit as she could be would probably be easy prey.

Rolling his eyes, Ricin sighed.  I don't remember cats always being that immature, he thought to himself.  Shaking out his coat, he glanced back at the vague cat's figure in the distance.  He swayed his tail in thought and slowly stood up, stretched, attempted to paw his blue bangs out of his eyes and he padded slowly over to the cat and he resumed to lay down in front of her and gave her a quick sniff.


"Are you always that immature?"


He inquired, wrapping his tail around him, laying his head down on his paws.

Fighting back an impulsive hiss accompanied by a flash of her poison tipped claws, Sparks forced herself to relax. “Me, immature?” she asked, orange eyes flickering over to Ricin warily. “Dinnae be daft. I'm way mature. Look!”
Shrugging off a blue rucksack, she unzipped it to reveal rope, packets of what appeared to be dried strawberries, a nearly full water bottle, and a scrumpled up map. “I took this with me when I… um, left. Yeah, left.” Sparks didn't seem comfortable with her choice of words.

Ricin gave a dull smirk to the small cat's rapidly tense body langauge and set his gaze directly into her's.  He glanced into the sack and gave a brief chuckle.


"Left, huh?"


Ricin half chuckled in response, his tone dry, yet he continued, "you have no idea.  Since you're the only one here out in the wilderness, why don't you come  travel with me?  My name's Ricin, a, uh... well... ex-enforcer of the pack up North,"


He gave the small cat a slightly-more friendly nudge with his nose, trying hard to avoid letting the metal parts of his collar jingle as he did so.

Sparks could have sighed with relief. He's no gonnae eat me! she cheered in her head, extremely glad of this fact. “Pack?” she said curiously. “Y'mean more wolves to accuse me of bein' a wee kitten? I only look like one!”
Smiling, she introduced herself,“Me name's Sparks Stripes. And only if you promise to be me friend, 'kay?”
