Just wanted to pop in and officially say 'hi' to everybody. My fursona is a playfully mischievous shape-shifting kitsune by the name of Isokanumaki, or Isoke for short.
In the boring old real world I'm a 27 year old engineer living in northwest Ohio. Though I've always felt that I was a furry, only over the past few years had I discovered the fandom and just how large and encompassing it was. Over the past year I've truly been embracing my tail (largely thanks to the encouragement from my wife who likes the fandom without identifying herself as a furry) and bit by bit I've been letting my fur out. I went to my first fur con a month ago and had a blast at Anthrocon.
At this point I am eager to make friends within the fandom both locally and abroad, though I cannot seem to find any active groups around me.
As for my other interests; I love gaming (in nearly all genres, not just video games), RPing, anime, movies, archery, and paintball. I've recently been dabbling in carpentry largely in thanks to a massive home renovation project and have grown rather fond of it whenever I have the energy and time to work at it. Both of which are somewhat scarce at the moment on account of raising an 11 week old newfie pup who is a chomping and romping ball of fluff and chaos.
