Favourite weapon in games?

I've got to go with the old school crossbow due to the simplicity of the weapon and all the fun ammo you can load it with. (Many game have featured it with different options for ammo)

Doom 2's super shotgun
Oddworld: Stranger's wrath's boombats
Lugaru, The rabbit's foot: Longsword
Duke Nukem 3D: Shrink ray

VK-12 Shotgun from F.E.A.R.

It literally (LITERALLY) makes your enemies explode. And that's awesome.

Oh cool! A SPAS-12! I love that thing, in real world, you can change it into 2 different mode: pump-action and semi-automatic. Kinda nasty close combat shotgun.


Apparently, these are my favorite:
1. Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (aka Gravity Gun, from Half Life 2).
2. The Original (Doom 3's and Soldier's in Team Fortress 2 rocket launcher, aka "Giant Painis").
3. Magnum (or .357, Revolver, Peace Keeper, lots of different names, and it is a legendary).

My new favorite weapon, hands down, are the defibrillators from Battlefield 3. Mostly because your character will scream things when you get a kill with them like, "F*** YOU, F*** YOU, F*** YOU!" Or, "ZAP ZAP, MOTHER F*****!"    If I had the game on PC I would link the audio files, but I do not.

if you guys want to talk blades, nothing beats Gray Fox's katana in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. When fully updated, puts all other blades to shame (yes, even lightsabers). This little bastard can cut through anything without having to deal damage to "weaken" armor or enemies. It just plain cuts right through like a flaming claymore through butter.

I think it was called the Disclocater in Destroy All Humans 2... that weapon that shot purple discs at things and sent them catapulting hilariously into orbit

In the Destroy All Humans games, anal probe is my fav.
