Sony to Buy Gaikai for Cloud Gaming Service

Just out of the blue, Sony has announced it will be purchasing Gaikai, a cloud gaming service, for use on the PS3 and whatever upcoming Playstation they'll be releasing. What're your guy's thoughts? Excited that you may be able to play more classics on the PS3, or that the "PS4" will be able to stream all older games? Or perhaps a bit shafted if you don't have the proper internet capabilities to utilize this coming service?

I personally think that if anything, this opens up the possibility that for the next generation, the "low end" PS4 will be a sort of "Playstation Stream" box, where you just pay a monthly fee or by-the-game to stream games and play.
