There is about eight books in total and I can say without a doubt, It is the bst series I have ever read!!

OMG its amazeing! There are currently 6 out of 8 books out, each book a min of around 600 pages. At first it is very complex because of all the people, places, clans, and such. But by the third book, you will be hooked!
My favourite character would be "The Mother of Dragons" or John Snow.

I have watched bits and parts of the series on HBO and I can tell you, some of the stoy line has been changed.
Right now off the top of my head I can tell you that reading the book will be best before seeing the shows.
One thing they changed was the first battle at Kings Landing. Thats all I dare to tell you because I dont want to ruin alot of the series.
