I'm honestly surprised this didn't turn into a huge flame war, However my opinion PC is better, but then again I have a very ... "Customized" version of windows, and I'm a hard core gamer. The only thing in my opinion that a Pro for Mac is that hardly anyone writes viruses for them

I'd say PC. I was just discussing this with my mother, who was considering a Macbook. Personally, I have a bitter hatred for Macs because 90% of my Windows programs don't have Mac versions. And the ones that do are things like Microsoft Office. The dock takes up most of the screen(unless you shrink it) and those familiar with the Windows interface will have to get used to the Mac interface.

Mac basically is just another flavor of *nix I must agree tho that there interface is very funky compared to other *Nix and Windows. (Maybe its just because I had a mac from the 1980's XDDD)

I think we just had this thread a few months ago, but I'm still gonna say PC.
Better support, better customizing, more widely supported, and can be relatively cheap when new.

Unlocked the previous topic and merged together.

I personally prefer PC. It gives you more possibilities and freedom (especially if you ignore the last operating system W8, which is a horrid Apple wannabe made for touch screens and not regular computers/advanced users), and there are more games and software available for you.

I am also going to skip over Apple's policies and marketing, because that could become a topic of its own and far too intricate for me to even want to start. This includes iPhone. The bottom line is that I think it's utter BS.

The only way I will ever agree with someone that chooses an Apple product is either...

A) They are producing music. Music editing software runs better (if not only) on iOS and you will simply have a much easier time if you're using Mac.

B) It's an iPod Nano. I own one of these, and for a reason. Despite how little I agree with Apple products, I do love the iPod Nano. You could hurl it into a wall and then stomp on it, and it will still play your music. The screen is nice, the size is perfect, it's smooth and easy to use, with lots of "handy" features without overwhelming you. I have also yet to find a music player that can replace iTunes. It too has some nifty features such as playlists that will update constantly with your "top 100 songs played within the last 3 months, that has not been skipped a single time within that period, that is rated 3/6 stars or more, and has not been played the last 2 weeks".

So yeah. I'm a Puncia, and I'm a PC.

And me on the other hand would not recommend it. On any PC with decent specs it does more bad than good because it kills vital system services to free up memory. And when a 4GB RAM kit can be found at less than $25 and 8GB for less than $50 (if playing games, 4-6GB tends to be enough and 8GB is overkill) I think that's a much more useful solution than have a program mess with what programs and services you have running which can cause things to crash.
