I shall take the fault here. I suggested that the question could be taken as offensive. Vulpy was asking in all honesty which of the two of you is more manly (for the definition he provided a link for) which could be asked of any two individuals. Though it is hard to answer maybe.
However, there is a tradition of assuming that same-sex couples have a male and female analogue, and so the question could have been seen as a way of asking who is the boy and who is the girl, which is a stereotype and considered offensive to some.
Assuming you furs were just considering the simple question and not the complex one, I was the one that took it there and made the whole thing confusing.
