not getting it

theres this fur who live near my city that i talk to on the interment, he is 16 and iam almost 20 the age differences is to grate for me to date him, i have told him i will be his friend, hes doesn't understand that me dateing him can and most likely will cause rl problems. i have told him he needs to find some one closer to his age and he has told me that he likes me only . do you have any advice i can give him to let him know that i cant do this ?

I can see how you feel, in a different perspective sort of way.

Just tell him to look for other people, introduce him to younger friends you may have-that are closer to his age. Could always tell him this site, so he can maybe find another person around his age, in the same area. Otherwise, let him down gently, continue to explain further why.

Tell him politely as Rappy said, but be assertive.
If he still just doesn't latch on, try to break contact. It may be hard if you want to be friends, but he needs to understand that if you don't want to and can't have a relationship, then neither of you can. If you haven't explained the full situation of you being 20 and him under aged and the fact a relationship would be illegal, yada yada, do so. Don't be scared about hurting him, seeing you are not in a relationship he will hopefully not be too attached. THOUGH, in saying that, and as horrible as it probably sounded, be weary of his emotions. Nobody likes hurting others but compare the potential of jail versus someone with hurt feelings. Big difference.

In the end though, if it continues and you really must stop it, blocking him will most likely help.

thanks ill try that. hes even talked to one of my friends about dating me, my friends have even told him there will be problems because of the age difference. if he still persists on it ill explain it even more then, if hes still intrested ill tell him about Rappy. i ve also told him i know another fur in my city who is 15.

hes going after me. iam not going after him.

the last person i dated ( online relation ) was 2 years  younger then me so the age differences wasn't that much. he knows about that online relation because he has talked to the ex mate before i broke up with him. and hes still trying.

iam i the only one who has some one thats 4 years younger then they are thats going after them?

Tis true....i had to stop talking to a guys who was 4 years older and didn't know how to take me not talking to him very well....after a few weeks of blowing up my fone he realized..
