For or against super fun mushy kiss kiss day?
« on: February 05, 2007, 08:54:20 PM »
So, are you one of the people that get caught up in the "fun" on St. Valintines Day?
Are you one of the people that get sick of seeing all the mushy stuff?
Or is it just another day to eat a bunch of candy?

Me personaly, I have some nice memories attached to the day, but they're also the one's that cause me
grief when I see something mushy or romantic. I asked out my first girlfriend on that day.
Then we split up and almost right after that she had a new boyfriend. They're engaged now.

I can't say Valentine's has ever treated me badly.  I LOVE the excuse to spoil my significant other more than I usually do.  When I have one for V-day.  And if I don't, well, I'm never really alone for it anyway.  lol

Used to ignore it.  It's my dad's birthday, so at least I always had something to take my mind off the pink and the love.  Now I've got someone to snuggle with  :-*

I'm sick of all the mushy stuff. I just like it because the candy is good, like those little candy hearts that say stuff.

I like the small ones better than the larger ones.
I'm not sure if it has much to do with the holiday, but my mom recently got a big bag of assorted candy.
It had two types of twizlers, whoppers, and frickin Reese's Pieces. =3

Before I left the house this mourning I grabed a handfull of twizlers and a bag of Reese's Pieces. :bubbles:

I have always hated Valentine's Day (Not mention that my birthday is two days before Valentine's Day). I'm always alone that day. I would buy myself either those candy hearts or some chocolate roses or boxes... I always end up being depressed.

I feel that Valentine's Day is THE most unnecessary holiday of the year. I mean, yeah, sure, it's all about love and stuff, but if you have a significant other, aren't you supposed to ALWAYS love them?

Well, either way, I always end up alone.  :'(
