I was just thinking about the new metal gear solid game that is coming out called Metal Gear Solid Rising and that will it be any good as that guy who made the other Metal Gear Solid Games is not making this one (cant remember the dudes name).

I am a Metal Gear Solid Fan but i have not played the old Metal Gear Solid games.

Well, as you said, Mr. Kojima is not taking part in the making of these two new PSP MGS games. They are both based on the concepts of multi-player co-op. The idea of this game-play type was made by the same person who made the concept of focusing on multi-player for Resident Evil 5. The game doesn't really focus too much  on the story as the others. Though the objective is still generally the same, covert ops and taking down metal gears. However, it does take a little of a nasty turn. Like RE5 on professional mode, there are parts and difficulties that no matter how hard you try, you need a competent human partner. I personally find that to be ridiculous, but that is just my narrow-minded point of view for two reasons.

1) You're lucky to find a person with a psp, and even more lucky if they share the same game interest and have the same game.

2) Most players in the world are either incompetent, or they can't' work in teams if their lives depended on it.

Yeah I would have to agree with Shinzuu about the multiplayer aspect of such a game on PSP, I mean games like Team Fortress or Counter Strike have this ability for team work no problem but that's only because they have over 10 years of history so it has enough notoriety to have such great team skills. Don't get me wrong Metal Gear Solid is great, but can it live up against that Monster Hunter game that is widely popular in Japan and in some places of the United States for online gaming on PSP :o?

On a side note I only played the first Metal Gear Solid game on PS1 on my PSP, I thought it was difficult to say in the least x.x. Never finished it though, I got bored of it because it was going to slow for me at first hand *Shrugs*. I also tried a very short demo #3 I think on some PSM Disc, looked cool but I didn't get into it :S.
