Ninja Chrono and Pirate Chrono have a large-scale duel to the death, and Ninja Chrono wins with his cookie clones.

Ninja Chrono then assassinates some of the vikings before throwing soap ninja stars at Shrio.

You talkin' about Cervantes from Soul Calibur, Sain? If so, that's like 40% awesome bonus to pirate's side to begin with.

Add Seth Balmore and Sed from Lost Odyssey as well as the Corsairs of Umbar, Lord of the Rings' only pirates, and we're seeing true power.

While I'm at it, REAVER from Fable 2!!! And to put the icing on the metaphorical cake, my favorite pirate of all time, ~main character name here~ from Sid Meier's Pirates!

As it stands, I couldn't care less about ninjas. >=3

Well Ryu Hayabusa killed legions of ninjas, regular fiends, 6 Greater Fiends, giant robots, freaks of scientific nature, werewolves,
Not to mention he crashed an ENTIRE AIRSHIP by himself against Spec Ops ninjas with rocket launchers and guns

and yes he is using a scythe... beware pirates, because Ryu is out for blood once more

Ryu was a favorable character among ninjas, I admit ^^ Ninja Gaiden was quite ftw... But Reaver wins between any (named) Ninja and Pirate characters.

My Fable favorite, Reaver was known for his showy nature, particularly in his earlier more adventurous life. He would purposefully take shots that had next to no probability of success, against captains of enemy ships, ending a battle instantly and amassing a fleet slowly with mere pulls of the trigger. With his excessive skill with pistols, combined with his eventual demonic eternal youth, he become one of the most impressive names to grace Albion's ears... And a fan-favorite of Fable 2.
