Now to leave it alone for a day or two and hope it wasn't too hot when I added the yeast.
Then it'll be another week before it's ready for drinking. All the wait and stuff.
Tho if this had been real and proper viking-style mead, I'd have to wait much longer. (Apparently it's tastiest when it's been stored for 3-5 years.)
That's why I've tried to remember to call it "mead". It follows the same recipe and procedure, but in this case the fermentation-process is just to make the thing fizzy.

Milk is no man's drink in the sense that it's kinda weird people are drinking it in the first place.
It's meant for baby cows. We're the only species that continue to drink milk once we're grown up.
Nothing wrong with that tho. I don't drink milk myself, but I do love ice cream and some kinds of cheese and stuff like that.
If humans -didn't- do weird things we'd most likely still be stuck out there living in caves.
