I just wish to jump in here quickly and say that you just called someone rude for having a bit of fun, if I understand correctly, and seeing how this is just a counting game I don't see why you are all so peeved over it. The key word here being 'game'. No, the rude people here are all of you guys talking behind his back. If you don't like it, talk to him, but don't spend your time here defaming him.

Here's just my thoughts about it all..

Getting special numbers have always been my thing and it was my thing first. I'm probably the only active counter here that's been here since the start. You can find me on the very second page of this thread and the, if you go look, I got for example 666 and have probably corrected the count more than anyone else here.

Billybob, you've gotten more 'minor' achievements than I have with all your 1000th posts, this one was my first non-1000th turnover and, unlike you, I pretty much always do different things I like rather than post the SAME. DAMN. THING. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I didn't even do anything big else than to post a goofy comment...

It's okay that Billybob does his thing and posts essentially the same thing for every turnover (for both 1000's and 10000's) but when I slow down and don't post too often apart from saying hi every now and getting a few numbers I like, then that annoys everyone? I'm sorry I don't post more often but I've been here for over 5 years now (my 5yr anniversary was the 2 days ago), that's more than anyone here as far as I'm aware and I'm not naturally a very social person either.

In my opinion, Timmy, people post what they post when they please. I don't see any point in blaming anyone for posting a 1000 number, and on the contrary congratulate you on timing your post that well.

Also, grey, a bunch of people were posting at 60,990 trying to get 61,000 and timmy posted it without posting much before, and people were angry that he had gone in and posted it while everyone else was trying to fight for it.

I might just add that it actually took like 3 or so hours getting from -980 to -1000. From 990 it took between about 30 minutes to an hourish.

So how much you all were fighting for it is debatable.
