It really sucks what happened to the Native Americans. It also sucks that people now think Thanksgiving celebrates genecide... it was actually based on a Native American holiday. In a respectful fashion. The original colonists actually DID have good relations with the natives (why would they not try to make peace? They were fleeing from corruption anyway), it was those that came after, purely for the rich resources of the land, that screwed that all up.

I totally agree. Sometimes I wish I lived there around that time and had the power to stop all of the chaos. But even my family only came to America just after the American Civil War.
