I'd like to be more cryptic, but I'm now juggling other stuff, it translates as:

This song is for a friend who wanted to write a song to propose with.  So he's singing (with love if not great skill), I'm playing piano and a friend is playing guitar.  The bass and drums and me using a synth.  I helped him with the lyrics coz, I'm helpful that way.
