I actually did a similar thing a few weeks ago. It was dark and I thought my cat was chasing after me, so I started running into my room with a bowl of stir-fry, and my foot got caught in the strap of a backpack laying in the hallway. I tripped, flopped on the floor, skid my knee on the carpet, and dropped my stir-fry. Surprisingly, only a small forkful of it fell out of the bowl.
