Guess what it's time for? ANOTHER ROUND UP OF AN ETA OF WHEN WE GET TO 1,000,000!
We gone up 22105 posts in 1232 days, which means we post a total of 17.9 posts per days, which would mean that if we went on a linear trend we would reach 1,000,000 in 54,502 days from now, which would be on Monday, 30 August 2162, however as I've stated before, we aren't progressing at a linear fashion.
I started saving post ratings and this is so far what we have
r1 = 18.30094967
r2 = 18.7655989
r3 = 17.94237013
As you can see there is some random fluctuation between these rates, if we were to take the average of these rates and say that the eta would be then, then our average rate would be 18.33630623, which would make our ETA would be in 53331.07921 days or on Saturday, 16 June 2159.
Lastly, we can go even further and say that the pattern REPEATS itself over couple of months, in this case the idea becomes more complicated. We can say that every 78 days the rate increases by 1.025389351, then say that every 104 days prior to that the rate decreases by 0.9561309621. We could simply make this much easier and make some approximations that this rate is consistent. Using that on average every 182 days the rate decreases about 1.41868714%. We could then say that every day the rate decreases by a mean 0.007794984286%, note that there was a small error in my calculations, I dunno where it came from, however the uncertainty is very small so this remains a good approximate answer. The amount of days taking this into account (and using the average rate derived) is 53343.17324 meaning our measurement can be taken as Thursday, 28 June 2159
Taking an average of the two most accurate dates to give our best answer (IE: Dates using the first method and dates using the second method) they are only surprisingly 12 days apart. SO THE MOST ACCURATE DATE IN WHICH WE WILL REACH A MILLION IS.....
Thursday, 22 June 2159
also for those who are interested, the uncertainty is ± 1195.47508 days, so needless to say it's not exactly the most accurate measurement
