Not all classes are like that but there were a few.

That's the joy of electrical engineering, I guess.
Lots of what we get is either physics based, or standardised norms / laws / regulations based, and those aren't very highly prone to change at all.

Sure, things like Variable frequency drives, PLC's, and the rise of field networks were a gamechanger, but because the nature of places you find you those things, they'll still be around for atleast a few decades.

Honestly, IT is probably the only thing in the world that changes so fast.
I guess medicine progresses, and so does chemistry and biology, but it's nowhere near this rate, and definitely not in the "easy" stuff.
Like, we basically know exactly how chemistry works.
There might be some fancy shenanigans you can do that we don't know about but it's still basically the same.
And with IT there are new languages, new problems and new technologies every year.

So teaching what we knew 15 years ago has no meaning

Yeah, that must be pretty complicated...

I guess we might have similar issues with elechickeneering in industrial settings tho. Nowadays everything has to be connected to the internet so the white-collars can monitor production from wherever they are, and that brings huge cybersecurity problems with it that will have to be adressed and kept upto date sooner or later.

Well, luckily noones been there yet. I guess scince most serious places still only use local standalone networks that are only accessible from the installation and the plant's operating room.
But it might not take too long before some environmental activists or something figure out a way into things, and that could be pretty dangerous.

Me neither, but apperently you get more protein from one avocado than a huge steak because steak protein are weird and your liver can't do things with them.

So I guess I should try it more too.
