Oh, just proverbially.

Despite or on account of me being in my early twenties the mother figure was like "It's lovely weather, go play outside or something". I tried to appeal against the suggestion by stating how I was trying to be productive, but nothing for it.

I've got no problem with it, tho. I understand how it can be annoying for a parent to have their almost grown up spouse hanging around all day long when there's nothing else to do, so thank god for public libraries with free juice and internet access.

I pity for my older brother tho (and for my parents for having to deal with him). His reaction to moments like these is still to just sit and pout with an angry face and his arms crossed whilst giving em' the silent treatment. 

Maybe he'll get it someday.

I did do that for a lan party. Several times, even.

Strapped my entire setup to my bicycle with some mats as a hopeless effort to protect the PC incase it fell off.

Oh, how young and reckless I was at the time...

Luckily my PC wasn't as expensive then.
