I've just had the "maintainance free short haircut" for as long as I can remember so nobody's ever thought me how to do hair in the tiny off-chance that I would want to have the same long flowing and silky smooth hair as this one random metalhead I met somewhere and now that's kind of embarrassing... >_>

I guess the most important things are to hold the brush-head rather than the handle, never try to brush wet hair, and to try and brush it at least two or three times a day.
Conditioner can be helpful too.


It should look just fine if you do that.
There's always an awkward phase before it's gotten long-ish.
Heck, even I had one once when I cut my hair so short I could feel wind on my neck.
It was terrifying and I will not be doing that again any time soon unless there's a good reason for it. >.>

I suppose it does do it's thing.

Except for the layer of birds nest material floating above my hair, no matter what I do. But I suppose that's probably because I just showered and either used too much or too cheap shampoo.

I should probably get my own...

I'm personally a fan of apple-scented Head&Shoulders, or chocolate-scented Faith in Nature.
Mostly because they smell nice and don't give me any skin issues.
Some shampoos literally make my ears bleed.

Cheap ones can work too tho. Someone I know use cheap shampoo and their hair looks pretty good.
Then again, they also use conditioner, so that might play a part as well.

So I guess there's a thing. Mild shampoo, or whatever kind + conditioner.
Possibly.


Up until not too long ago, I used to use Moomin shampoo and balsam as well, but I quit for some reason I can't quite remember.
I should buy a bottle, for variety and nostalgia's sake... >->

Not saying cheap shampoos are bad. Just that the right one is important.
Everyone is different, sometimes the cheap ones work better.
