Some random tank-obsessed shepherd I used to know kept getting annoyed by me constantly referring to tank destroyers as tanks.
So eventually I got fed up and started to refer to everything even remotedly tank-shaped as "wardrobe" to avoid lectures.
Fairly certain it'd have started to run through the whole IKEA-store eventually tho.


"NO! That's not a wardrobe! That's a dresser! You can tell by the..."

Well, sorry, but I specifically said "like furries", soo, ending with -ies, and not -morph. :P

And, yes, trackies indeed refer to tanks. But, I guess gunnies could be used to comfortably name any wheeled AV's, and any cars could go by wheelies.

There is no such thing, as all vehicle people seem to have decided they want to go by stuff that end with -morph. :P


Besides, wouldn't mechies work better? Then it'd encompass all mechanical anthros and not just ones with tracks?
Otherwise it'd be as if foxes suddenly demanded to be referred to as foxies, wolves as wolfsies and bats as batteries rather than just being happy with the all-encompassing furries.

The only problem is that, as far as I know, "mechies", already refer to mech-suits... >_>


But, "trackies" and "wheelies" are still not too wrong, I think. As the only distinguishment there is between the two terms refer to their type of suspention.

Because doplhins are mammals too, but yet they go by a diffirent name, aswell...

Car Wars... that's got a ring to it.


In my story, the trackies are the powerclass but are mostly dependent on the wheelies for long distance/high speed transportation and so the wheelies are made to feel shameful and inferior so they don't realise they hold an advantage.


But they don't fight each other per se.
