The tank had come along way. It was worn down, scarred, exhausted, and most of all, drained. Drained of all hope...

"Ssssshhhhh, let it go...", Michen whispered quitly, and soothingly, as he firmly squeezed shut the main coolant tube with his arms, from behind the tank's torn-open engine compartiment.

"Everything's going to be allright..." He calmly wispered, as the tank's engine roared, and it's tracks tore strips of conrete off of the workshop's floor, desperately trying to escape.

"No more fighting..."

The tanks resistance slowly drew down, as it's engine began overheating. It's world slowed down, and his balance was spinning, like a fever dreams. And, suddenly, with a loud mechanican "klang", it's engine seized up, and the tank lost the last bit of it's mighty strenght, as it's gun piteously fell down onto it's body, and the sparkle of life dissapeared from it's optical sensor, leaving it behind as a cold, lifeless chunk of enameled glass...


"Just dreams now..." Michen finished off, as he let go off the tank, and casually slapped the engine grease, and dirt off of his claws, and arms.

He'd have wanted to show his victim some dignity, closing it's mechanical eyes, or trying to write a convincing note of farewell to it's loved ones, but unfortunately, he didn't have time for that today...

He had more cleaning up to do...
