feels patronised, in living-at-mom's-kid, who tries to be a responsible and mature adult, but still needs to study

Soo, apparantly it's possible to permantly/temporarily (legally) live in a camper. (because there's a dutch website wholly dedicated to how-to, and such)

The downside, is that it's complex as hell, and I am now knee-deep in the juristictions, and laws of "basic person's registration (BRP)".

Meh, my dad lived with his parents way up into his FORTIES :P
He only moved out because my stepmom-to-be gave him an ultimatum.
And he wasn't even being particularly irresponsible or anything, he worked and helped them with stuff.
He just wanted to stay living there for who knows what reason.


For as long as a person still tries to adult there's nothing shameful about living with your parents.
Unless said person is just being a lazy-butt leech who are too lazy to try and get a job or even an education.

I met one of those...

But yeah, I'm working really hard on studying, and getting well paying job... But, aaaah, that whole thing just took a 2 year delay because I quit the maritime school...

I really feel stupid for not having seen that earlier, but I do N O T wanna spend 2/3rd of the next 40 years of my life sitting on a big boat in a giant ocean, drawing travel-plans on charts and stuff...

I kinda have friends and hobbies now...

I guess I just don't really understand "being in a hurry to move out" because of how there was a time in my life where I'd have done -anything- to get to move back home again. Or well, I -do- get wanting to leave, but at the same time it still feels like such a strange thing to me.


Ironically, these days I try to -avoid- having to move back with mom "permanently" again at any cost. Visiting is usually fine, but sometimes even that gets kinda ugly.
Ignorance truly is bliss.

Yeah, it sucks >->
But I won't let that stand in the way of me becoming a cat-lady!
I grew up with cats and managed to get through the days just fine.
It was only after a random absence of cats that I started to notice issues that most likely were caused by cats (when I ended up being around cats again after being away for a long-ish while in a cat-free environment).


But perhaps if I were to power through it, I could adapt to cats once more.
Or even if not, a cat is well worth the issues I tend to get.
The issues are thankfully more inconvenient/annoying than anything else, after all.
