I currently have the "hate" kind of happiness... I know it sounds ironic, but the Dutch nav system got me soo darn frustrated it made me feel alive again.

Soo, I did a cross country drive on my moped for about 70+ kilometer. I didn't have much time, soo I skimmed google maps a bit to pick a few towns to pass, using the Dutch nav signs trail system. But, damn, if they didn't absolutely suck...

They way to my destination went fine. But the way back home was a complete disaster! Some of them point in circles, other ones just end in a dead end, leaving you wander from town to town hoping to find some of them again, and most of the rest just don't make sense at all.

Luckily, I'm quite smart when it comes to travelling, and I remembered most of my route back, and remembered tonnes of conspicous "landmarks" (ranging from company banners, to tractors for sale) on my there, to confirm I'd be taking the right way back.

Maybe it's also because I'm just darn happy to be home... I must've been on that little poot-poot wheeler for 4 hours...

It's not as much google maps failing, as me simply not having time to check google maps, and not having it on my phone.

But yeah, it may be not a very efficient way of travelling, but it's not really a problem, since that little moped practically doesn't use fuel at all.
