Anything Season 4 to Season 8 would be fine if you just wanna try it, I don't think it's got continuity.

(Season 4 is when it gets really good, Season 9 is when it went downhill)

My Name is Earl is probably the most special show of this kind to me. (the semi-realistic toony stuff) I find that pretty odd because the characters are all stereotypes, but there's just so much heart behind it that their over-the-top-ness actually makes it somehow M0RE down-to-earth.
