Quite a lot of stupid people I personally know prefer blaming others for their intelligince, rather than admitting their own stupidity. When they encounter anyone smarter than them, (wich is: decently educated and responsible thinking) they will blow off on them, calling them "nerds", "Einsteins, "nitpickers", and just in general blaming them for being "too smart" rather than themselves for just being plain stupid, and not having paid attention during class...
